Practically Perfect in Every Way!

Traded in my super sleek Lexus sport sedan (that I really loved) for the Ford Flex Limited and never looked back! I thought I'd never give up a luxury brand vehicle but Flex proved to be equally amazing. The Flex is almost as luxurious as the Lexus and very classy. It has tons of room like a mini van (without having to drive a mini van), feels sturdy like a full sized SUV (without the excessive bulk), and gets the same gas mileage as most V6 sedans! The Sync sytem beats all other GPS systems hands down! I could go on forever about the Fex but bottom line is it's amazing and everyone loves it!!

Flex is the total package

I did tons of research to find a good replacement for our 2002 GMC Envoy, which was a real lemon. She noticed the Flex but we were afraid to buy American again. But the reliability is good, and there is no better car with the room, 3rd row seat, etc. It's terrifically roomy, and the Limited is absolutely loaded PLUS we got blue with the silver roof which is beautiful. The Microsoft Sync is awesome. I am 6'4" and I am very comfortable, AND I kid you not, the Flex is quieter than my Jaguar. Best car we have owned. Period. 22,000 miles and no problems at all. great technology.

Love it

I traded an '05 mustang in on an '11. Before you think "what the H" I do need to drive in snow, so I picked up a limited with AWD. I have had compliments from Jag and Audi drivers on fit and finish and I have been "volunteered" to drive to all Brewers games. I would say if you are thinking of an ecoboost go for it, I wish I would have.

Don't do it

We bought the Flex to get away from the minivan vacuum. We have three kids under 10, the Flex had alot of passenger room but most of it becomes wasted because the space can't be used for storage, and quite frankly children don't need a ton of leg room. This car can fit 6 adults comfortably, but how often do we need that? We couldn't get as much in the back as we could our minivan. It's a nice smooth ride but alot of wind noise and with leather and the box shape the kids can get very loud. Sync is cool but doesn't always work. The 12 speaker stereo is nice but FM fades in and out in places it shouldn't. There is no spare tire which I don't understand. The dark interior shows everything, not good for a family. The shades in the vista roof rattle when opened. In conclusion Forgive me minivan we are coming back.

Everyone should try a Flex

Bought my Flex Summer of 2009. Over the past 21k its been from Annaplolis to westen NC countless times and on many day trips all over Maryland. The Flex is a fantastic road trip car with a POWERFUL 12 speaker sound system, an above avrage 3.5 V6, great space, and fantastic MPG. Currently we are getting 18.4 in 85% city driving. If more people would give the Flex a try it would be extremely popular. Its a cool minivan with slightly enhanced towing (4,500 lbs compared to the Odysseys 3,500lbs.) I would buy the Flex over and over again its so comfortable and has deicent steering for a large car. The Flex is for you if you have one or two kids, never go off roading, dont tow much or at all, need extra space, or are bored with minivans. Features to get are probily Sony sound, ambient lights, vista roof and if you can afford it Ecoboos although the base engine is far more then aduquate and can spin the tires of the FWD model easily.

Down size but keep the room with a Flex

I down sized from an Exposition to the Flex but haven't lost anything. Seven passengers ride in comfort. Amazing, but the fold down seats gives as much room as the Expo to move a college student. Easy to get in and exit. Changed from a truck ride to a smooth ride and quiet. We can talk. Doubled the gas mileage to 20 in town and 24+ on Hwy. The AWD will do fine in the snow and ice. This is a great vechicle for family and travel.

Family Car

We have only had it about 3 months but we are really pleased with the Ford Flex. It has plenty of leg room and cargo space to transport the family and all their sports equipment.

Love it!

2010 Flex Limited I've owned for 16 months. Great overall, gets tons of compliments on its looks, kids' friends love it. Sync is GREAT, stereo and navigation are superb. I have the second row captains seats, great legroom here. Beware, if you have the second row bench it doesn't move forward ( the captains seats do) so it leaves little legroom in the third row. I don't have Ecoboost, wish I did. Overall, very, very happy.

LOVE MY FLEX

I ALMOST DIDN'T EVEN LOOK INSIDE A FLEX AS AT FIRST DIDN'T LIKE THE OUTSIDE SHAPE - BUT ONCE I TOOK AN INSIDE LOOK AND DROVE ONE - I WAS IN LOVE! EASY IN AND OUT, COMFORTABLE SEATS, EASING LOADING & UNLOADING GROCERIES. HAVEN'T HAD THE GRAND KIDS IN IT YET BUT I THINK THEY WILL LOVE IT TO. GAS MILEAGE IS AS PROMISED - AND EVEN BETTER BUT I KEEP IT AROUND 60 MPH!
