A versatile family vehicle
We bought our new 2011 Flex SEL about two weeks ago. So far it's been a great car to drive, with lots of conveniences that make it safe and fun for me, my wife, and our four kids. Our last car was a Honda Odyssey, which we owned for 9 years, and despite losing interior cargo space vs. the Odyssey, the Flex is a better value all around. I'm hoping to keep it for at least the same amount of time. I gave 4 stars for performance because the standard V6 engine feels slightly underpowered going uphill, but it does get 19 mpg in mixed driving, and about 24 mpg on long highway drives, so I can't complain too much. I highly recommend the Flex for large families like ours!

Great car
We have only owned this car a short time and are thrilled with every aspect of it. I never thought we would own a Ford again but they have come a very long way. We had one on vacation and loved it. We really didn't need a new car but this car impressed us so much that we bought one. Dealer was great. We hope to keep it a very long time.

Love the Luxury
This is a breakthrough for a family with more than two kids. We all fit in comfort and didn't give up on safety or technology. I'm going to love this one for a longgggg time. Thanks Ford!!! Keep it up. Proud to be driving American again!!

This car rocks
We've been looking at the Flex for over a year. Brought one home for the weekend as a dealer loaner and we love it. Will try to make a deal Monday. We took a Chevy Traverse for a test drive earlier today and thought the ride was bumpy and the interior was ho-hum, but I did like the way the seats folded down to a flat surface in the Traverse - and the price made it a good value - good warranty, etc. But then we stopped by Ford. The sales lady was tied up and she said just take it home and bring it back Monday. I could feel the hook going deep into the gut, but I said yes anyway. There is just no comparison on ride quality. We keep cars until they finally just wear out, and I can see us keeping this care for a really long time - if I can get the deal down to within our budget. I've read some complaining reviews, you can never make everyone happy - but the Ford Flex is a great value and definitely a keeper. If you are looking for a mid size, moderately priced cross over SUV, you owe it to yourself to at least take the Flex for a test drive.
