cheap car

It is a cheap car, you not gonna pay much but it is also not gonna last you. the engine quickly loses power and accerlates poorly. I also had alot of problems with the tie rods and the axles for not appearant reason. My Blower stopped working cuz water got inside it, I can never imagine how that happened.

What a great car with great mileage

I'm at 70,000 with my second Focus, the four-door sedan, and I continue to be very pleased with the gas mileage, comfort, and room. Have had no problems. It handles well on the highway and is easy to park. The sound system is also great. Gas consumption is around 31 per gallon, and I think I could do better if I drove more conservatively.

Not sure.

I have had two Fords (2000 ZX3 and current 2003 SE). My ZX3 had one problem from the time I owned it to the time it died in a auto accident. My SE hasn't have anything wrong until the other day when my emission light came on. I am praying it won't cost me an arm and leg to fix this. This is the only car I've had since I've started driving so you could say it's all I know but when I got my renta car (Chevy Impala) wow...what a difference. My next car I plan on getting a Honda.

The least reliable car I have ever owned

Just in the past month I have put over $1000 into my Focus ZTS. The passenger side axel, brakes, and the spring all needed to be replaced, which is ridiculous for a 5 year old car. I will never purchase another Ford because of this experience and the experience that my family also had with a Windstar a few years back. These cars are anything but reliable and have caused me more headaches than I ever dreamed I would have over a car.

Ever recurring starter problems.

Purchased my Ford Focus ZX5 '03 model five months ago. In that period, the car has failed to start on three separate occasions. Mechanics are at a loss as to the origin of the malfunction. Car is running like a dream for the moment, but I'm just waiting for the axe to drop; that is, that I'm stranded in the middle of nowhere and have to get a tow, yet again. Not reliable. Definitely think it is a factory malfunction as I found out it is the most recalled vehicle. Beautiful car but my experience has been a harrowing one.

i feel cool driving my focus hatchback

had a nissian sentra that had many problems. I've had the focus for 6months now and i love it. little skeptical about buying a ford but really people should own a ford before they judge.

Focus

well i got my focus w/about 1000 miles it's been a great dependable car. I've driven it to mexico, texas, new mexico and the beach like every day in the summer it's a great car. the stick shift is very strong and fast. When i've gone to bakersfield it goes up the huge mountain w/no trouble i would recommend it. The 03 se 5spd everything power and 6cd, alarm.

focus zts

Ford has always been my go to car, I have always appreciated the ergonomics and general ease of maintenance. The focus handles like it is on rails!Mine has the 2.3L pzev, which has great mid-top end performance although low end power is poor I have had to replace the starter as it failed at 38k (not good).I believe it was due to not being properly torqued at factory, as it was loose when this happened. This is where we really find out about quality or lack there of.Ford only split the cost (shame, shame). It is overall still a good small car for the money hard to beat, considering the closest competition , corolla has had its share of problems lately. Focus does do its part as a gas saving low -emission vehicle that can still hold its own on the brutal roads we must traverse.
