Good car for a good price

This car is not expensive, and the engine is very reliable, but expect some issues with suspension and for sure the motor mount will fail after 100k, but that is a very cheap and easy fix. I do liked this car a lot, and recommend.

The car that keeps going

I've owned my 2008 Ford Focus since 2010. Bought it from a Ford Dealership. It is a great, resppnsive, safe and non expensive car that has blessed me with going the distance, and hardly any repair costs. It's been my favorite vehicle so far and I would buy one agai or reccomend one to my friends. The repairs (at least for my car) have been minimal. It's easy on gas affordability too.

We purchashed for our high school aged daughter and it has been reliable and a perfect size for her. It is roomy enough for her to take with her to college.

Great, reliable car

Buy this car! For the low price, it was well worth the value it brought. We've used the Focus as a family car for over three years and have had zero issues. We've put 50K on the car with zero accidents or mechanical problems.

Good Car, Reasonable Price, Not Amazing

I've had a this car for a 3.5 years and we haven't had to do any major repairs. We got it with 72,000 miles and it now has 111,000. The only thing that really sucks is their usb system for mp3 devices. Since that isn't that important the only major complaint is its lack of power, but it still gets you where you need to go.

Merely OK commuter car

I drive the '08 SES coupe, and have just hit 112,000 miles. On highway driving, it has good handling, and rarely seems like it is losing traction-even in rain. That said, I have had 2 wheel bearings suddenly die without warning now, and I am going to have to replace the other 2 soon because they have foolishly made these and other components proprietary, sealed units which home mechanics cannot access anymore to apply grease/replace without going to a dealership. I have also had the driver side door handle just up and break ($$$). If you plan on doing any of your own maintenance, this is probably not the vehicle for you. If you would rather pay someone else (handsomely) to do all maintenance no matter how simple, you will probably be able to get 150,000 miles out of this before something breaks and they tell you to buy a new one.
