Excellent ride, handling, and reliability.

This car met my needs when I needed it and has surpassed my expectations in reliability and cost to own. My daughter, who is turning 16 soon, loves this car. I have put about 20K miles since I purchased it and it has never let me down. New Continental Control Contact tires and new TPMS sensors. New Gabriel struts and shocks. New headlamp assemblies - projector style New ac Heated leather seats Fun to drive and handles quite well.

Great commuter car

Great for the money. Have only ever had to normal wear parts like change oil, brakes, tires and car runs great at 134K miles. A little rust on driver rear door near the seam , interior of the door.

Best car I have owned

I previously leased a focus in 2002 and after 4 years I traded it in on a ford freestar as it suited my lifestyle more at the time, while looking for another car in 2011, I purchased another focus SE and it now has 260,000 kilometers on it and I am very proud to say it is still extremely reliable. It may not be the nicest loookng car but it is definitely reliable. I do not regret my decision.

Very reliable car.

This was my fiances first car. This car has held up over the 6 years we owned it. Always serviced and maintained. Was glad to see it go to someone who would take care of it.

Easy car to maintain for the money

I really enjoy these cars. This would be our second one and granted the other one finally hit the "cost to repair outweighs it's worth" mark, but we easily put 50,000 miles on that car and it was a salvage title. These car as super easy to maintain, just have to put a little work into changing brakes, tie rods, minor stuff when it happens, no different than any other car on the market, except the cost to do so is going to be considerably less.

It's a really nice car for commuting. It gets really good gas mileage and has a good sound system set up.

Very dependable for work and getting around safely

Bought this new with a trade in of a Ford Ranger when gas was getting near four dollars a gallon. Has been very dependable and great for saving gas. Love the cruise control for longer trips and enough bells and whistles to keep you satisfied for the price, it is a great value. No mechanical issues at all. Have to say, if gas gets high again, I will likely purchase this or similar Ford model car again. Currently driving an Escape. Any recalls were notified by mail and repaired free of charge by Ford, which was also great. However, I can't say we had any for this vehicle though.
