2013 Ford Focus consumer reviews

I have had numerous problems since I purchased my 2013 Ford Focus good thing I bought the extra warranty I will never purchase another Ford vehicle again.

Got this lovely little fella for $17,999.00 if you ask me the price I paid I stole it. You cannot beat the value of this. Made in the USA, she was made to work. However you don’t think of a sedan as a work car, that’s not my reference. When I say work I mean when I floor it the traction control lights up and both tires wanna sing along. A DOHC 4 banger! She gets it done. Did I mention it’s a 2013 and the only parts replaced are the wiper blades, brakes, oil when needed, air filters same as the oil, and tires the rest is original with 87,989 on the odometer and she’s a daily driver 😉

I have had nothing but transmission trouble with this car. The transmission shudders constantly. Its sad that Ford can't stand behind their product, there has been a recall on this transmission for awhile now. i have had mine to the Dealership 4 times now and they say it does not meet the specs of the recall. so they won't fix anything. The first 3 times I had it over there the didn't charge me. I just recently had it back to the Dealership and then charged me $117.00 for the diagnostic testing. Come on Ford its a recall!!! I will never buy another FORD!!!

Horrible Ford experience. This was my first and it will be my last. The car was part of a transmission recall, mysteriously the dealer never found the issue but when the warranty expired they found the $2300 problem. Customer service is all outsourced and very condescending robots. No thank you

This is worst car I've ever owned and ford is not taking any responsibility even under power train warranty and I advice no one to by a focus or fiesta or many trucks or suvs they are doing nothing but ripping off the public and they are not safe this has been proven over a decade do not buy ford vehicles unless u want we ecessive costs Along with putting your family at severe risk

I love this car. It has everything i wanted and more. Its comfortable and runs great. Its met every need I was looking for. I love it

The car is roomy enough, front and back and acceptable trunk space. The transmission causes slippage and hesitation that can be a problem getting on highways or just taking off from a dead stop. After paying $1949.00 to have it rebuilt and still has the problem but at a lesser degree, I would not recommend this car.

The automatic transmission being an automated manual transmission, takes a little getting used to, but it really does feel like a manual is being driven (a little poorly at times). Once you get over/used to this, it becomes a non-issue, and I've enjoyed the gas mileage without the highway going to work every day. Almost as good as my Honda Shadow 750 motorcycle!

Ford knew about the transmission issues when they sent it out to the dealers. They didn’t care about the quality. The transmission went out while I was driving. The locks went out in the back and the doors swung open while driving. So glad my child is grown now! Never a Ford again!!!

I love everything about it, I have the manual and it's fun to drive. Reliable,looks, Bluetooth ECT. Only bad I can say. Rear leg room.
