Love Love Love This Car!

I have the Titanium trim version of this car. If you are debating between Titanium and another cheaper trim, go for Titanium. That way you get maximum comfort AND maximum reliability. So happy with this car!

DE Review of the 2016 Ford Focus SE

The Ford Focus SE is an economical car that is cheap to maintain & easy to drive. Highly recommended for people who drive compact cars.

it felt like it was wrecked when going over 60 mph

do not get this car it don't have good acceleration, i have come close to getting hit a few times because the transmission (the duel clutch auto) is not worth the time, money, or the aggravation from going to the dealerships time and time again.

I drove a Focus before and loved it

I like the style, color, great gas mileage, and amenities that it came with. I owned 2008 Focus and had an accident back in 2017 and was looking for a different car and I think it was fate. I had looked at a couple but when I went to Reineke in Fostoria I just said I wanted something reliable, gets good gas mileage and had cruise and when she called me to let me know that she had found something it was another Focus. I love it!

Sporty, corners like it's on rails. Perfect.

5 speed Hatch, 2.0L normally aspirated. Sport package: backup cam, cruise, power all, 31-32 mpg. Econo insurance rates, regular gas, rare to find. Manual trannys are becoming exceedingly rare. This car comes with 17" aluminum alloys, rear disc brakes, and Michellin 225 45 series rubber, most excellent in rain and especially dry. Most manual cars in sport class now have turbochargers and take premium gas, and- cost more to insure. Not this one. Got lucky, found mine at Pioneer Ford in Bremen, GA. Under 12k miles, mint, certified pre-owned. Tends to want shifts very early for smooth, econo, Uber mode driving. If you choose to shift at 4200 - 4500, it's a completely different car. K&N cold air intake, 10 minute install. ECM seems to have learned my 2 styles. Same performance as my 2012 5 sp hatch. Same drive train. All Direct Injection engines require periodic CRC Intake valve cleaning treatment for best kept performance. These Ford 2.0L 4 cylinders are highly under rated. My 2012 had 102,000 miles on it, no leaks, no loss in performance, but CRC treatment every 12 to 20k miles is a good idea. I only use Mobile 1, appropriate 15k filter, and swap 22 oz of oil with 22 oz of Motorkote. AC is ice cold, Heater is fireplace hot. Steering is electro servo, and razor sharp. 4 wheel disk brakes stop the car level with minimal dive, vs hatch with drum (poor) rears. These cars are under rated. You could not pay me to own any of these with the dual dry clutch automatic transmission. I love these 2012 and up 2.0L 5 speed hatches. Very special. If money was not a factor, the RS is the best. All RS models are manufactured in Germany at this time. If you're in GA and want to check Ford product, Pioneer Ford was the best car buying experience ever. I am 51, 5'5, 148, and this car fits like a glove. Pioneer is well worth the drive. Joel Bagby my sales rep was super. His dad in finance, too. I drove off with a full tank of quality first tier gas. Joel filled it for me. Ford factory financing was a full point lower than credit union. Zero down with GAP coverage under 600. Rolled in with tax, tag, and advalorem=payment under $300. 5 yesrs. Ford SYNCH integrates p e r f e c t l y with my Galaxy S9+ and Skoche phone magnetic mount from Walmart! If you want a sporty economic manual, a 2016 200A equiped SE sport package cannot be beat. Good luck finding one.

Most modern car I have owned

Easy to drive, good mileage. Very reliable. I am buying a Ford next purchase. I switched from General Motors. Put 20000 miles on in a year.

Good overall - odd shifting gears

There was a small kick back every time the gears were switched. I didn?t expect that much of a kick from a 2016 car. I currently own a 2001 Chevy Cavalier and the kick back on my car is not nearly as bad as the Ford. The rest of the car is perfect besides that!
