i love this car.
i love this car. i bought mine private party in 2020 with 143k miles and all the bells and whistles. it’s got a comfortable, high tech interior, a good looking front end, and excellent gas mileage. i commute 80 miles a day in this thing i’m at 205k now and am starting to get some mechanical issues. i’m definitely fixing whatever the issue is. it will be cheaper and better than owing money on a newer car that’s not as fancy that i don’t already 💗 if you’re going to buy one of these, i recommend getting one with over 100k miles. this model year has some serious transmission issues causing some of them to fail at around 70k miles. if it’s made it significantly past 70k, it’s either a good one or it’s had the transmission replaced previously.

don't understand the hoopla of pure electric cars
bought this in january of 2017 when it had 85,000 miles on it, it is now almost january of 2023 and it has 126,000 miles on it now. always dependable, always great on gas, and still runs great and looks nice. the body control module needs to be updated at around 8 years to maintain hybrid function, and the throttle body is a known weakness. i have replaced both front and rear brakes (front didn't really need to be done but at 125,000 if just did them anyway). we consistently get 36 to 38 mpg, tank after tank. the only thing i have had to do is routine maintenance like oil changes and tires. i cannot imagine a better, more practical car out there, and it is now going on 14 years old. i would not hesitate driving cross country, saving a fortune on gas (FJB), the ni-cad batteries are still going strong. i can on some trips, if i hyper-mile, get mid to high 40's, and it still never needs any oil between oil changes, which i do at around 3000 mile intervals. if you can find a decent fully functioning example, it is a good choice.

2nd Hybrid Fusion For A Reason
This is the 2nd '10 Fusion Hybrid I've owned. There's a reason! Very reliable, efficient, great stereo, comfortable. My only advice is to put on good tires because it makes a big difference. Use the cruise control when you can and you will get great MPG.

My 2010 Ford Fusion hybrid is strong at 150K miles
I was very concerned 10 and a half years ago buying a hybrid because like everybody else how long the batteries last in a fusion hybrid. Well, they are still going strong at 150 thousand miles and ten and a half years old.

most reliable car I have ever owned
this car met all my needs. I used it every day and it never gave me a problem, I was actually surprised at how good it worked since it was my first time buying a used car. it has a power outlet for the back seat and a little place in the back seat for two cup holders so that comes in handy for long trips. Really comfortable and it saves a lot of gas money because it is a hybrid car.

Most fuel efficient car that I have owned
This car has worked very well for me for 9 years. It gets 50 mpg in the city on a regular basis. It often gets 38 mpg on road trips. I have read that newer hybrids get better mileage, but I am not ready to give up my Fusion yet.

Had the car for almost 11 years
I owned this car for almost 11 years and drove almost 130,000 miles. The car still looks, drove, and handled very good. No major problems to report. Most costs were typical maintenance: tire, breaks, hoses, etc. The reason that I sold the car was that I didn't need to commute anymore, so a friend of mine purchased it from me; he commutes almost 40 miles one-way.
