Great Commuter Car
The Fusion Hybrid is an excellent commuter car combining above-average fuel economy (35 mpg avg) and terrific driving range (600+ miles per tank), but without the styling, feature, and performance compromises of other popular hybrids. The main drawbacks are a lack of headroom in the front seat (if you're over 6' and have a moonroof) and a small trunk that fits two large suitcases, at best.

Best car EVER
We have had our Fusion Hybrid for 3 months and 5300 miles. I love this car! Now that the weather has warmed up I am averaging 45 mpg on my commute. We are on getting nearly 700 miles per tank of gas. All that and it looks great too! I would recommend this car to anyone looking for a roomy 5 passenger sedan.

I have been driving 47 years and have always bought new cars. They have been Fords, Dodge, Chevy, Toyota and Chryslers. Realizing that technology has changed dramaticaly I can honestly say that so far this has been the most enjoyable car I have ever driven. I have owened this car for 1 yr now and love everything about it. Still trying to play with the Sync Feature.

An Awesome Automobile for Today
I have had my Fusion Hybrid for 5 days. I have driven it 500 miles. I got 36.3 mpg on the highway going 70 mph most of the time. The car is awesome. It is comfortable with leather seats but the cloth passenger seat was not comfortable at all for me. But the leather is great! We have dual power seats, heated, moon roof, everything except the GPS as we have a Garmin. I gave it only 4 stars interior because the door pockets are not long enough to store maps. But no big deal. Also on value, 4 stars for the added $6,000 for a hybrid. Payback time of 6-8 years?? But you are depriving OPEC of another gouging so why not? I keep my cars around 10 years or so.I just love this car! Just get leather and forgot the uncomfortable cloth. You will pay a bit more. I also recommend the extended warranty I think 6 years/100,000 on the hybrid components. It comes with a 3/36,000 but that is not enough. So...the warrant added about $1900. But Ford is new at this so to me anyway it is worth the peace of mind. And this covers the big battery which costs $6,000 to replace. So if I can get 1000,000 miles with the battery I will trade it in then anyway cuz I sure will not spend $6,000 if the battery goes bad anytime after 100,000 miles. Anyway, ONE AWESOME CAR AND QUIET AS CAN BE, RIDES WELL, AND HAS LEATHER COMFORT. BUY IT! Just watch the cloth seats and maybe go leather???

Ford Fusion Hybrid is fun
This is the first American car I have had after 15 years of Camry's and I just love it. It is more than just a hybrid. The engine moves seamlessly from gas to electric. The interior has lots of little touches that make it very comfortable and fun.

FUSION HYBRID-ALMOST PERFECT
THE FUSION HYBRID IS ALMOST PERFECT!'BUT FORD CUT CORNERS TOO CLOSELY. THEY FAILED TO SUPPLY A VALET KEY & THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOES NOT HAVE A LOCK. SO NOW WHEN YOU PARK THE CAR IN A LOT THERE IS NO SECURITY FOR THINGS IN YOUR TRUNK AND GLOVE COMPARTMENT. WHY WOULD FORD DO THIS FOR THIER CUSTOMERS? I CAN'T IMAGINE......

Ford has "wow" factor
Love our 2010 Fusion SEL. Has more features for the money than the Camry! The cabin is whisper quiet and the sound system is awesome...not to mention SYNC, that option is a must.

2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid Cash For Clunkers
I purchased the Fusion Hybrid with Cash for Clunkers Credit (4,500), hybrid credit (1,700) and tax credit (3,400). If it wasn't for those credits or incentives, I would not have purchased a new vehhicle. My normal driving, the Fusion Hybrid get 30 MPH, however I have got 40's but that is not my normal driving but that is still great mileage. Only pet peave is that I can't believe that Ford didn't put a garage door opener as standard equipment on a vehicle in this price range. Great car and I reccomend it to anyone who wants to decrease the money going to the oil companies.

Most exciting car I've owned!
Finally decided to buy a new car after 24 years after my last new car. Many old cars, vans in between. Wanted to buy one that I would keep for 7-10 years. Settled for a Toyota Camry Hybrid. As I continue to research, Fusion Hybrid kept coming up. Research the F Hybrid and its a better car than the Camry. Drove both and the Fusion Hybrid is more exciting. I am still on the 1st tank in mixed driving, mostly highway where its supposed to get 39 mpg but I am averaging 41 mpg! Around the city, I average sometimes 55 mpg. After turning off the key, a short trip summary shows miles driven, time, mpg, etc.

Best Car I've owned
I mainly bought this car because I live in a hilly part of Colorado Springs and liked the idea of capturing the energy normally lost when stopping at the bottom of a long hill. I also liked the reviews I had read. It turns out that this car is even more than I had expected. It's a blast to drive, turns corners as flat and accurately as a go-kart, and gets even better mileage than I had expected. After 2500 miles the computer tells me that I'm averaging 42.3 miles per gallon. On my second tank of gas I had driven 500 miles and it took 12.4 gallons to fill it up. This car also has a lot of punch off the line because of the high torque of the electric motor. I couldn't be happier with this car. I highly recommend it.
