Up on the list of favorite cars to have owned.
Has great throttle response, road handleing, brakeing is excellent, mechanicals are not over expensive, and as a hot rodder you may not need to modify a thing on the 2000 Ford Mustang GT 5spd. All around dependable and fun to drive Car. est. 16mpg City, and 23mpg Highway. Not bad even at 135,000 miles.

Great!
I think this car is very good, has a nice design, runs great, pretty fast, but if you have a lot of friends like me, I would say avoid buying sport cars.

Great Value
My 4.6 Automatic 2000 Mustang GT Gets a great average of over 23 miles per gallon city and highway driving, and thats an automatic too, very few performance mods necessary to achieve this mileage. It is very comfortable, I take this car on long trips and I have no issue with it at all. 6 Hour trip to the beach and the car doesnt even overheat! Car has almost 104,000 miles on it and it still gets great mileage and the performance is very desireable.

I had fun...!
Great Car....got it from a friend who couldn't make the payments. Had 60,0000 miles on it and I drove to 127,000. Had it for 5 1/2yrs. The only reason I got rid of it was I had two kids. One car seat can make due in the back, but two I couldn't. No problems with rust or engine...ran like a champ. I didn't race people becasue I had the V6 3.8, 5 speed (Sounds meaner then it runs). Still it was fun to drive. The only time it was in the shop was to fix the car alarm.... It wouldn't let me start the car. If your looking for a car to have some fun in on a budget this is it...If you have kids may consider a 4 door sports car. I do wish it could fit car seats in the back cause I would still have mine.

2000 Ford Mustang Convertible V6 Auto
Had a heater core crack after a year and the wiper motor went out (ten years old when it happened). Other than that the leather interior was in good condition and the convertible top works perfectly. Purchased used for $5000 so it has it's minor paint issues. Went from a 1996 to a 2000 and plan to keep going through the years with the Mustang.

Very Loud Vehicle, not in a good way.
Interior is poorly designed. You can't use one of the cup-holders in a stick-shift car because the shift knob will not go into 2nd or 4th if there is a cup there. Vehicle is VERY loud inside, and thats road noise not engine noise. Engine can pretty much survive anything, but i did have both back calipers freeze at 35,000 miles.

I am hooked
I bought my 2000 Ford Mustang GT last year with 45,600 miles on it. The car had never been driven in the winter and I was a little concerned about driving it in a NH winter. This car is fabulous in the snow! I have never owned a Mustang before, and I will never own anything but a Mustang from now on. The car is reliable, snazzy, made well and fun to drive. I would recommend it to anyone. I have had minor maintenance and only had to buy new tires for the winter.

Excellent Car
I have had this vehicle for 5 years now, and I absolutely love it. It has the fast get-up and go that I want, and it's handling is out of this world. I have never had any troubles with this car.

Reliable, reliable, reliable...
Unfortunately I am writing this review after my wonderful 2000 Mustang has been diagnosed as "totaled". ...but I just wanted to say that it has been one of the best cars I've ever owned. I inherited it from my husband (who was the original owner) after my '94 Chevy Camaro died after major mechanical issues month after month after month... I only had the privilege of owning the 'stang for 2 yrs, but in all of that time only had one problem...the emissions sensor had to be replaced (very expensive). Other than that the car has been wonderful. My husband owned a mustang prior to this one & has the same story...No problems, very reliable & a fun car to own. I hope that Ford continues to produce good quality when it comes to creating this car. I would recommend a 'stang to all those who are thinking about getting one. Unfortunately I won't be getting another one as it won't support room for a family. Some day though...maybe after retirement!!
