Ageless

It's 1968. I'm 22 years old and probably on my 8th junkie car by then. I'm at my local theater watching a movie. The movie is Bullitt, starring Steve McQueen and a fantastic 1968 Highland Green Mustang. It's the first REAL car chase scene starring the Mustang and a Dodge Charger (another great car of that era). I am mesmerized. The car, the exhaust sound, and San Francisco. Up streets, down streets, tires squealing, and hubcaps flying. Fast forward to 2010. While looking for a used 'Vette I end up buying the best car I ever owned. A used 2008 5-speed 315hp Bullitt Mustang. A head turner, no joking. Number 3732 out of 7000. One of a kind dash. One of a kind wheels. And the exhaust, oh, the exhaust sings to you.I love it. I'm 22 again.

Bullitt

Prior to purchasing my 2008 Bullitt, I had never owned an American car. I had driven either a 3 Series or 5 Series over the last six years. Simply stated, I love this car. It is the most enjoyable car I have ever owned in over 20 years of car ownership. The engine and manual transmission are fantastic. The torque is always there if you need it, and the transmission is very smooth. I was a little worried about the live rear axle, but the Bullitt handles very well. It has not been an issue for me. I am very impressed by the build quality. If you have been driving an import for a long time like I was, I recommend you take a Mustang for a test drive. You will be pleasantly surprised.

fun car

2nd mustang since 06. Love it, just understeers at higher speeds, must drive with throttle, enjoy driving my stang, have put 65000 trouble free miles on it and it just purs along. my stang is a ca special and the only draw back is rear seat leg room and no cup holders.

My wife has now had two Mustang convertibles and she and I both love them. We have had good service and many happy miles of touring. It always gets a psoitive response from people we meet.

Shelby GT 500 is Awesome!

I finally took the "plunge" and purchased a 2008 Shelby GT 500. It has 500 HP, great looks, and is a well rounded performance package. If you are looking for speed, future collectability, and great looks, you have to test drive a Mustang! I'm glad I did!
