Great for new driver and driving in town errands

Good car for the value, clean interior, sun roof and 6 disc cd changer make it more than your average Taurus. Recent service to tires, steering assembly, and serpentine system. This car is a trooper you can count on. Power windows, seats, mirrors and Mach audio system make this car stand out from the rest!

183000 miles and running great!

I bought this car almost a decade ago with 100k miles already on it. That's a terrible idea for many used car purchases but not here. 83k more miles and so much life travelled safely, reliably, and economically i still love this car!

2000 Ford Taurus SE

I've owned this car for the better part of its life. While it doesn't get the greatest gas mileage, it has been reliable and got my kids where they needed to go as teenagers.

Reliable and Safe

Great older model 4 door sedan. I owned one for 16 years and made 2 long road trips across the US from CA to the East Coast after it had hit 100k miles. With regular maintenance, these cars can run well over 200k miles and still be reliable.

Good decision

We've had this car for a number of years. It has been driven many miles each way as a commuter, but now we use it as the second car. It is still running although it has some rust.

Still own it.

We still own this car, and although it was once a primary commute car, it is now the second car. We have had many years of good service from this vehicle with very few problems.

Good looking fixer upper

I purchased a 2000 Ford Taurus using Cars.com. The car looked great, and the price seemed right. There was some important specifics of the vehicle that needed repair that weren't in the add. I rode a greyhound for 17 hours to Oregon from California just to get his car. After a test drive I chose to buy it. I drove it 250 miles back home, and things were fine. Thing changed about a week after purchase. I found so many flaws that I was stunned. I felt duped. The car needs immediate engine repairs just to pass smog on to of some other necessities. Bottom line, I paid too much for a car that needed more than was stated. It's being fixed now, and that's good. This is my daily driver and I have mixed feelings about. This vehicle should have been about $400 less than I paid.
