Miss my Tarus

My Taurus was loaded 6 disc CD player -Moveable gas and brake pedal I'm very short so loved it -- electric seats I actually tried to buy it back after I sold it --one negative rusted around the wheel well and under the rocker panels

The best car for a family

I will be the first to say that I never expected to enjoy driving a Taurus. However, after having a family, we needed a safe and reliable 4 door vehicle. The drive is so smooth and quiet that it puts my old Mitsubishi Eclipse to shame. It lururiously large and gets great gas mileage to boot!

320k miles

Did have to change starter, alternator but the engine and transmission just works with no issue. Really like driving it on highway. I drove it to from Dallas to Boston and many places. It's very smooth on highway. Also the gas millage on highway is very good too.

Decent starter car

Handed down to me a 2004 Ford Taurus ses. It was overall a decent car across the board, not exceptional at anything but adequate at everything with a couple slight strengths. For one it's a large car with a commodious trunk and comfortable seating for 5. It's not very fast but it's not too slow, not the most efficient but not awful, handles ok year round but not exceptional. Overall it took two high school aged boys abuse very well with minimal issues over 5 years of ownership.
