Sleeper For the Win
It's SHO time! The SHO version is the way to go if you can afford and find one. It doesn't look fast but it has some serious get up and go, more than enough for regular commuting and entertainment. Despite the weight it holds its own handling wise too... coming from a Fiesta ST I'm impressed with how this full size behemoth can take a corner. Sporty driving aside this thing also is a great daily commuter. The front seats are very comfortable with plenty of room for myself and any passengers in the front and back. The interior is a nice place to be with soft touch materials abound and Sync 3 infotainment. Despite the firmer suspension on the SHO version the ride is not at all harsh over regular roads here in Colorado. The all-wheel drive system is a plus to have in the winter. The gas mileage is decent too, I'm averaging about 19 MPG highway/city combined. Tons of room in the trunk to haul stuff around too. I do have a few minor gripes but no car is perfect. Overall the windows are smaller than most cars, especially the rear windshield. You know those gun slits in bunkers... that's the viewing experience you get out the back. The car weighs as much as a bunker too. It might be classified as a full size sedan but it weighs as much or more than a lot of SUVs. I'd bet this thing would get better gas mileage if it didn't carry as much mass. There are two optional packages to look for with the SHO trim. There's a safety tech one with blind spot detection, lane keep and parking assist, collision warning and adaptive cruise control. The other is a Performance Package which comes with sport calibrated steering, stiffer suspension, improved brakes, steering wheel with Alcantara, ability to completely turn off the electronic handling assists, 3.16 final drive and additional cooling for the PTU and engine oil. From what I've found you can't have both, the SHO comes with one of them or none at all. If you're planning to track this heavy weight find one with the performance package, otherwise try to find one with the safety tech stuff. Overall this is a great underrated full size sports sedan.
Second Taurus and love it more than the 1st!
Love the comfort of the ride, the power, and style of this car. Got the 20 in rims that really make it look great! The Ford Taurus makes for a fantastic sedan that is superb for road trips and I'll miss them since Ford is planning on dropping them from their line up. I'm a sedan person and am going to have to find a new manufacturer to buy from. :(

Smooth driving
This car has a lot of get up and go. Accelerates easily for when you need that extra speed. Love the leather interior and the hands free options while driving.
