The 2002 Retro T'Bird is a head turner!
I love the style of this car. When I drive Midnight, my black 2002 Thunderbird, I notice other drivers looking and pedestrians turning their heads. The 2 seat interior is small and cozy; it makes an intimate place for a date. This is not a muscle car; you won't blow the Corvettes off the road. You do get a powerful engine that can get to 60 quickly. The top end is 140 mph for me. If you ever own a "retro Bird" made from 2002 - 2005 you will never want to give it up.

Great car
Great car overall, no major problems that can?t get fixed. Check engine light, new seat cushion, and mino me tuning that wouldn?t cost much to fix.

Fantastic Piece
One of the best I've ever owned. Great , ultra-responsive trans. It's a little rocket. Ford outdid itself with this one.

Like New Condition, New Rated Tites
Bought car from original owner when it had only 2,000 miles on it. Never seen rain, driven only for "fun trips" highway driving.

Classic and Reliable
I have owned this car since 2002 and it has been a reliable, dependable and fun vehicle. I still get compliments on it regularly. Its really quite a classic. I hate getting rid of it, but my husband got me something new, and well that garage is only so big. You will love this car...the convertible is great, and you hardly ever see any of this model on the road....so nice!!

Too many headaches
Purchased 2 of these vehicles new, an 02 and an 05. The 05 gave me serious problems within 90 days of purchase - kept it for 10 years hoping to get Ford to correct cooling and transmission issues, but after exhausting all efforts with Ford under extended warranty, I sold the car. If Ford would have stepped in an repaired/replaced the transmission, I would still own the car today. And the Ford dealership was useless.
