  • Very unreliable van

The whole underneath, hall bearing, stearing breaks everytime. Highly unreliable. Will not advise anyone to purchase this van. We work on this vehicle almost every day and it has less than 40,00 mileage when I purchased it

  • Great driving van

This is a surprisingly great vehicle to drive. The plastic trim parts are poorly executed and rattle, but it can't be beat for drivability. It's also much cheaper to service than my prior Mercedes Sprinter

  • So far excellent vehicle, only owned it for 1 week

Very comfortable, performance and fuel mileage are better than expected. Many more comfort options than expected in a cargo van. Heated seats, 10 way electric front seats, navigation, Sirius, blue tooth phone pairing, electric mirrors.

  • New generation styling and ergonomics,

I was very pleased with the styling and ergonomics of the vehicle. I being rather tall it accommodated my height with comfort and ease of access. The new vans are finally meeting this generations styling, form and function.

  • Seller makes the difference!

A cargo van is pretty simple, a box with a motor and wheels. The difference with this van was made by Schrier Automotive. I was taken care of quickly and efficiently. I'll be a Schrier buyer from now on!!!

  • only owned it 1 month.

radio pre-set buttons too far from driver. climate control knobs could be more accessible . for me the driver seat must be lowered & moved completely back to get up & enter the cargo area, afterwards you have to readjust it to the proper driving position. Will be used as a camper van, and for traveling. MPG could be better.

  • New Transit 150

I use my work van for a personal car, and I have driven cargo vans since the '70s. This new Transit is different breed from my E-150s and Espresses from the past. The new Transit has a distinctly European feel. The bucket seats (mine is a 6 way power seat) are much more "buckety" that past vans. They are nothing like the Lazy Boy like seats I've had in earlier vans. That's not a bad thing, just be prepared. The controls feel European too. The shifter is a short, dashmounted lever. The turn signal stalk only moves about 3/4" in use. The steering wheel feels smaller with the look of a passenger car. Steering is very light and tight. Where older American made vans leaned and floated through turns, this new van stays flat. Tires these days are harder with less rolling resistance to improve gas mileage, and you will definitely feel the difference if you're moving from an Express or E150. Styling is less "Detroit" with bumpers pulled in tight, little chrome, no spokes on the base wheels, and split front door windows. Even the exhaust note is high and quiet. My 4.3L 6cyl Express had a much lower rumble with the factory exhaust. The engine noise on the new Transit is mostly gear and alternator whine. I did not opt for the EcoBoost turbo. As an old school wrencher, I remembered that turbos add a highly complex (troublesome) extra system to any motor. My friends with EcoBoost trucks say I'm wrong! They enjoy the extra power and mileage, and say the turbo wasn't just bolted on, but engineered for durability. We will see. Visibility is excellent with an enormous windshield and side windows. The rear camera is great to use, and the mirrors are better than past factory units. Yes, I have a few things to get used to but my old van was ready for retirement with 200K miles, and I insist on buying US made trucks. The Express is no longer available with a V6 and 1/2 ton chassis, and the Ram van is a Fiat with upgraded running gear that's built in Mexico. If you need a light, full sized van, my recommendation is the Transit. I purchased my '17 from Mike Raisor Ford in Lafayette, IN.

  • So far so good, a very comfortable large van

The 3.5 ltr engine has plenty of power, it's great on the highway, and tons of room. 20mpg highway over 2 day, 1000 mile drive, more like 16 mpg city with lots of hills. It is the long wheelbase, medium roof version. Backup camera and alert are a big bonus. Cruise control is flawless, engine brake on tow package works well. Seats could be a bit more plush, but basically comfy for the long haul. I use it for work, not just fun, great for all the tools I need. Surprised how it feels smaller and rides so well.

  • Compared to the rest, it's the best

Smoother ride than expected and easy to work on with plenty of power for a people mover. Sits up high and commands the road. Unique styling takes a bit to get used to but awesomely priced compared to the old Chevy and GMC. Great turning radius and easy to drive. Take it from a car guy, you can't go wrong.
