Great vehicle with lots of extras

Love this vehicle, leather, colors both inside and out, ample space and leg room, 3rd row seating, only 16 mpg but it's paid for and will drive it as long as possible. Just got it in October 2017.

Very Unreliable/ High Maintenance Cost

Like the looks and style but had lots of transmission and head gasket problems. Required multiple trips to the garage for major repairs. Cost us a pile of money to keep the car but we couldn't get anything near what we needed to make a trade feasible. We are trapped.

Beautiful design but not so reliable

The cars spacious design works great for having a huge family but unfortunately from my experience so far it's not been very reliable. I did however purchase the vehicle used so it could of been the lack of maintenance. But since I have purchased the car about 2 years ago I have been in repair shops almost every 3-4months with several issues. It began with multiple sensors, bad struts, catalyst converter, alternator and other smaller mechanical issues. I'm also having electrical issues which Ive had in common with other owners of the same car

GMC acadia

I went from soccer mom van to this! Much nicer and more a "me" style. Never thought I would get out of the soccer mom van world but sure glad I did!

Engine trouble

I have had this car for almost 4 years and have had no trouble with any of the problems mentioned by others. But it started running rough and when I took it in for a diagnostic test I was told that the Timing chain was going to need to be changed. Before I could get it to an authorized GMC repair shop it stopped running and once I got it to the GMC shop they said I needed a new engine. The car only has 156,000 miles on it. I have always been a GMC loyal customer but this is too much. This is totally unacceptable!

2007 Acadia SLT-2

I drove mine 130,000 and had 160,000 when I traded it in. Lots of comfort, great options, but the transmissions in the 07-10 were not very good. Had mine repaired 3 times, 58K, 63 K and 125K. I always had in the back of my mind it might go out again. However mine was running really great after 140,000 miles. MIne burned oil as well, so I kept adding oil every 1500 miles. Daytime running lights are problematic as well. All in all I took care of mine and still love the look of the 07-2012 models.

Great for busy moms

I bought the Acadia mostly for the 3rd row. Mine is loaded and i LOVE IT!! Second row captains chairs are super convenient, third row folds up and down easily.. Perfect size for families of all sizes.
