I purchased the 2024 GMC Canyon AT4 in Solar Flare

I purchased the 2024 GMC Canyon AT4 in Solar Flare Metallic. It is a very pretty truck. I also purchased a 2015 Chevy Colorado LT New with the 6 cylinder. The 2015 model is a much better truck. It has 141,000 miles now and it still rides better, interior is roomier and quieter, and it gets better gas mileage than the 2024 with a 4 cylinder ever thought about getting. The 2015 is just a more solid feeling truck and fewer shortcuts were taken during construction. The 2015 has more interior space, even though GMC says the 2023 and 2024 models are bigger. GM went backwards on their engineering with the new model. The 2024 GMC Canyon did not hold it's value. It depreciated almost $15,000 in one year with only 7,200 miles on the truck. That's approaching 30 % depreciation in one year. I have never had a vehicle lose value that fast.

Had my 2024 Canyon for exactly one year.

Had my 2024 Canyon for exactly one year. Not a single real issue once over the air update was done and that only affected the radio. It was an AT4 in desert sand metallic. I traded it for a 2025 Acadia, as I missed life in an SUV. However if you want a truck, I’d highly recommend it and specifically the AT4 model. It’s got meaty tires for pothole protection, it’s able to tow more than you can imagine, it looks super amazing and you’ll have lots of thumbs up and positive comments when you get gas, etc. updated tech was more than you could ask for. 4WD auto mode worked flawlessly. Engine had a nice little growl that I miss too. Let me say if you are a truck person or want to be a truck person, it’s a perfect mid size truck. Mine was 100% and am missing it yes but love the Acadia because it’s also a great vehicle. Got the AT4 Acadia and for my situation it’s perfect.

I really wanted to love my 2024 Canyon but too many

I really wanted to love my 2024 Canyon but too many quality issues. Probably the last GM vehicle I will buy. Electrical is screwed up. Recall for fuel tank. Front camera replaced. Black Exterior plastics turning white from cheap talc filled resin. Less than a year old!

Bought a 2024 AT4 new in March.

Bought a 2024 AT4 new in March. Now have 11,000 miles with ZERO issues. Absolutely love to drive this truck. Considered Tacoma, Ranger, Frontier, Ridgeline, and Colorado. The Canyon is superior in almost every way. Only negative is that the truck sits tall (9.6 inch ground clearance) so steps are a necessity. However, sitting so high is great for driving. Feels like a full size truck when you sit in it.

I traded my 2022 Canyon AT4 for my new 2024 Canyon

I traded my 2022 Canyon AT4 for my new 2024 Canyon Denali. Pretty much everything has been improved on this truck. Its a great looking truck with a handsome, top shelf interior and tech. I was worried about going from the 6 cylinder in my 2022 to the new turbo 4 but driving the truck I was surprised by the performance improvement. The engine is quiet, better mannered and more powerful than the V6 and is vastly better for towing my trailer. The truck drives and feels like a full size but its more zippy and easy to park and get around downtown. My only complaint so far is that it has a manual rear window as GMC doesn't offer a power sliding rear window on the Canyon. This was a sticking point for me and the reason I didn't give the truck 5 stars overall.
