General Motors has decided that certain 2027 Chevrolet Bolt EV, 2025-2026 Cadillac OPTIQ, Chevrolet Colorado, Equinox EV, GMC Canyon, 2026 Buick Enclave, Envision, Cadillac CT5, Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade IQ, Escalade IQL, LYRIQ, VISTIQ, Chevrolet Blazer EV, Corvette Convertible, Corvette Coupe, Corvette Convertible E-Ray, Equinox, Silverado 1500, 2500, 3500, Silverado EV, Suburban 1500, Tahoe, Traverse, GMC Acadia, Hummer EV Pickup, Hummer EV SUV, Sierra 1500, 2500, 3500, Sierra EV, Terrain, Yukon, and Yukon XL vehicles. The radio may not have been set to the correct status to download the electronic owner's manual during production. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, ?Occupant Protection.?
Without an owner's manual to consult, owners may not know how to safely use and operate the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.
Dealers will reset the vehicle radio, which will facilitate automatic download of the electronic owner?s manual, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 13, 2026. Owners may contact GM customer service at 1-866-467-9700, Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020 or Cadillac customer service at 1-800-333-4223. Air bags

General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2026 GMC Hummer EV Pickup and SUV vehicles. The front passenger air bag connection may have an improperly crimped wire, which can result in the air bag failing to deploy as intended.
During a crash, an air bag that does not deploy as intended increases the risk of injury.
Dealers will install a jumper harness, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 22, 2025. Owners may contact GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. Seat belts

General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2023-2024 GMC Hummer EV pick up, 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV, and 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV vehicles. The left or right front seat belt buckle attachment bolts may not be tightened properly.
An improperly tightened seat belt buckle may not restrain an occupant as intended, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.
Dealers will tighten the left and right front seat belt buckle attachment bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed January 8, 2024. Electrical system

General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2022 BrightDrop EV600 and 2022-2023 GMC Hummer EV Pickup electric vehicles. The high voltage battery pack enclosure may not be properly sealed, allowing water to enter the pack.
Water accumulation in the high voltage battery pack can cause a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy is currently under development. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk are expected to be mailed November 28, 2022. Second letters will be sent once the remedy is available.
