Great road warrior
We traded up from a 94 Chevy conversion van to the Savana (also a conversion van). It's a little hard to separate the GMC features from the conversion features (Starcraft). The 5.3L engine and 3.73 rear end are a great combination. Ours came with a trailer hitch installed, and the van feels very strong pulling 3,000-4,000+ lbs.- Purchased a New car

great vehicle for the money
purchased used with a 15 foot box. used to haul snack food products which can be quite heavy with a full load. at 100,000 miles the rig still runs very strong. would recommend this platform to anyone who doesn't need a big disel truck- Purchased a Used car

Money Pit
I currently own three of these vans. all three have had the same problems, ie park light bulbs burn out quickly and as a result of changing them so often, the plastic covers no longer seal and have to be duct taped to hold them in place. also, there is a wiring harness problem that forced the tranny to shift abnormally therefore- Purchased a Used car
