style all the way around

The vehicle does what I need it to do. Lots of room. My whole family loves going on vacations in this Terrain. Really a lot of vehicle for the price.

Money Pit

Bought this car with 130k miles. Within 2 years: AC had to be replaced, 3 factory recalls, rear seat belt stopped working, catalytic converter went bad and that costs over $2000, oil consumption problem to the tune of over a quart a month (no it didn't smoke or leak). It rattled so bad on cold starts I worried about it throwing a rod. Rides pretty good, transmission was smooth and it looks fairly decent. The motors just happen to be trash.

Worse car I ever bought

This is a horrible car and GMC should be ashame of themselves. One month before it made a year started having problems and still do. Cam shaft been changed 3 times already and just made it to 90,000 miles, bought it with 18 miles. While driving the car just stops.

Do not buy - major engine problems!

On second engine replacement (less than 2,000 miles on it) since Feb 2019 - It is July 2019, and another engine is being replaced right now. Had warranty insurance - they paid $3800 each time with my out of pocket being over $1,000 each time.

Love my Terrain

Love my Terrain but the engine started using/burning oil around 90,000 miles. I feel the engine burning oil should have been a recall I don’t know if my next vehicle will be a GMC product

Uses to much oil

I like the 2011 terrain but it uses to much oil. It is comfortable with plenty room. The interior is beautiful as well as the outside of the vehicle. Fairly good on gas.
