Good condition

This car has been a good car to me but it’s time for me to get something bigger so I tow a trailer. It’s in good condition and had lots of room and is very kid friendly:):)

Great car

Love the room inside for a tall person. Love the rubber floor. Seats are very comfortable. Wish Honda still made them. Our family owns two!

Very good second car, we moved lots of stuff in it

This SUV is used for family stuff, moving stuff and just plain riding around in the hills in Southern Indiana. Very reliable, we feel we could jump in it right now and drive to Nashville, or Cincinnati, or Indy or anywhere.

Exactly what I was looking for!

I have a 2004 Honda CR-V with high miles and wanted to buy another used Honda. Lower miles, "boxy" rear end, interior and exterior in good condition. No frills, just simply functional. I go to auctions and sell in antique malls. Like the CR-V, need space to haul goodies. I found it!! 2003 Honda Element! It had low miles, GREAT interior and exterior condition, stylish black trim, "boxy" rear end, suicide doors for easy loading /unloading, flip-up or removable seats, NO carpeting to worry about, comfy ride, good visibility, handles real well, has plenty "giddy up". I am one happy Honda owner!! (wish Honda would bring the Element back into production)

By far, the most practical vehicle I’ve owned

As a tradesperson working in the city , the Element can not be beat in terms of carrying everything needed, and fitting in a subcompact car parking space. After 206,000 miles, the clutch had to be replaced...Yes, it’s a manual, and fun to drive. Obviously, the auto industry has headed in a totally different direction, since the inception of the Element. To be honest, there isn’t a vehicle offered today,(in America) that comes remotely close to the Element’s practicality.

No problems

I drove this Honda Element for 15 1/2 years 125,000 miles)without any problems other than an oxygen sensor needing to be replaced. It was a fabulous car to haul all kinds of materials including 4X8 sheets of plywood (on the diagonal). Great city car but not great on the highway.

Great starter car and still going.

I purchased an 03 Element back in 2012 and she’s still on the road in 2019. I do think I overpaid a bit, but I was young and naive. The only real problem I’ve had was the oil pressure sensor going out and needing to be replaced 3 going on 4 times. Tire size is a bit difficult to find in my area but other than that no problems. I initially wasn’t too keen on the boxy design and burnt orange color but she’s grown on me over the years. The fold up seats are great for hauling things and was great for taking my 2 dogs around. I haven’t driven her since October when I purchased a new vehicle but my husband has taken over driving her since then. I was rear ended once at about 45 mph and only damage done to her was muffler and taillight knocked loose while the other car was totaled. Overall very satisfied with the longevity, spacious interior, and safety features of the 03 Element.

Most reliable car I've ever owned.

This car just keeps going. It's incredibly versatile and inexpensive to maintain. The AWD gets me through all types of weather conditions and the spacious interior will hold a seemingly endless amount of cargo.
