Reliable, flexible and well designed

I've owned two Odysseys over the past 20 years, with the 2020 being the one we currently own. The 2020 has proven to be just as reliable as our other Odyssey and the Honda Accords that we've owned. The 2020 Odyssey has a smooth ride, comfortable attractive interior. The Magic seating system makes this van even more flexible for hauling loads of kids and family, while being able to quickly change to hauling lots of cargo.

Never again

Was in the shop 5 or 6 times in the last 6 months with a popping noise in the front-end they replace everything in the front suspension, noise came back after a week then replaced sway bar links still didn't fix it, replaced bolts on the engine cradle and that seems to have fixed it. All covered under warranty. Then at 36576 miles the camera in the windshield went out while on vacation 1500 miles from home, found a dealer that was able to work it in and get the replacement camera. This camera controls the adaptive cruise control, front collision mitigation, lane keep assist, lane departure mitigation and auto high beam. I called honda corporate and after 2 days a representative called me and said there was nothing they would do as it was 2500 miles over the warranty and it's a car and cars breakdown. He told me to drive it 1500 miles back home and have the dealership at home repair it and they might be able to help cover the cost of $1300. I didn't want to drive that far without all the safety features working and he told me that that's on me. With the problems we've had I would never recommend the honda brand, thought they were more reliable that's why I bought it.

Never buying an Odyssey ever again

This was my 3rd minivan, all Odysseys. I had liked my 2 previous vans which was why I bought the 2020. But soon after I bought it, I started noticing lots of things I didn’t like. First, they took away a safety feature that helped me when I was backing out of my driveway. Then, I realized the backup camera was not very good, so I had to pay extra careful attention when backing up, especially when it is sunny out. And this camera caused me to back into another car (which was not shown to me on my terrible camera) which was behind a tree. The alarms never went off that I was that close to the parked car, and I hit it, with my 3 little kids in the car, and now have a big dent on my trunk. Also, the vans mechanics are not good. Within a year of having it, whenever I would roll up a sliding door window from the drivers seat, the window would go up, but then start doing down again, repeatedly. The same thing with the sliding door on the drivers side. Whenever you would close it, it would close, and then open up again, and beeping the whole time. Long story short, don’t buy this car, you’ll regret it.

Honda Odyssey is Extremely Reliable

We have had 2002, 2004, and now have 2010 and 2020 Odyssey vans. The Odyssey is extremely reliable. With proper maintenance will last in excess of 200,000 miles. We sold the 2004 at 230,000+ miles, and it was still running great. The 2010 we have is approaching 170,000 miles. We are two 80-year-olds; we just like having plenty of space to carry things.

Great traveling vehicle for retired people

Very good ride for the dogs and the wife. Mileage and power is above the Toyota vehicle and average for a minivan. Comfort and quality of material is above normal standard vans.

Great family vehicle

We bought it new and only have 1600 miles on it but thus far we’re very pleased. While being very comfortable for everyone and roomy it’s a very practical vehicle. Combine the comfort and ease of use, the safety features and overall quality that comes with the Honda brand it’s tough to beat. After test driving the Toyota Sienna and the Kia Sedona, the Odyssey was the top pick for everyone. Taken it and a couple short road trips with the family and it performed above expectations. Very happy with the purchase.

Just bought it and am super in love

This van checked all the boxes. Has great space for 3 car seats, love that there's room to have grandparents ride with us if needed and easy to drive. So cozy!

The best minivan for our family

We loved our minivan. Well thought of and the features are amazing. You can’t go wrong with Honda Odyssey! We used a Kia Sedona but it has safety issues so we decided to get a new Odyssey.

The most comfortable and quiet minivan.

The ex-l model has all of the comfort features and is a real pleasure to drive.I also get 21-23 mpg in town-real world mileage. My wife likes the heated seats.
