
Vehicle Overview
Passport is an Isuzu Rodeo that wears Honda badges. Passport is built by Isuzu in Lafayette, Ind., and adds a handful of new standard features this year. The key additions are rear disc brakes and a limited-slip differential for four-wheel-drive models.Acura, the luxury division of Honda, is introducing the car-based MDX SUV this year, and Honda dealers are expected to get a version of this vehicle for the 2003 model year as a replacement for the Passport.
Exterior
All models come in four-door wagon styling with a tailgate that swings open to the left. The rear window swings up separately. The spare tire stores under the vehicle on the EX and EX-L models, and it rests on the tailgate on the base LX.
Interior
All models seat five with two front buckets and a three-place, 60/40 split rear bench seat that folds for additional cargo room. Leather is standard on the EX and EX-L models, and the latter gains a standard four-way power drivers seat.
Under the Hood
A 3.2-liter V-6 engine with 205 horsepower teams with either a four-speed automatic or five-speed manual transmission and either two- or four-wheel drive.
