Nice SUV but not reliable
I bought my 2003 Pilot because of its room (8 passenger) and reliability. I like the vehicle but it has been very unreliable. My 2003 Certified Used Pilot had a lower control arm ball joint separate causing the front suspension to collapse. This joint is supposed to be greased for life at the factory. Unfortunately no grease had been applied. The boot and retaining ring were in perfect condition but the joint had no trace of lubricant. I also had rear wheel bearing fail. Both of these failures occured before 100,000 miles.

one of the best money spend suv's
It's a good truck, but FUEL economie for the city is 13 mpg and 23 for the highway. I live in LA and 13 mpg at $3.75 its not a bargain. Brakes do not last at all, they always have some issues. Replaced all tires at 30K miles. That the major issues i see with this suv. On the other hand, Pilot is GREAT!

Truly the Most Reliable Car I've Owned
I've never had any problems with this car for the 3+ years that I have used it. It provides very steady cruise on highway. You do not feel the high speed such as 80 miles/hour when it does the smooth cruise. The interior's leather seats are very comfortable, and, of course, very roomy. Driver seat has power adjustments -- very convenient for all shapes of drivers. Automatic temperature control makes the car feel like home.

Best car I've ever owned
I love this car and hate to have to sell it. It's sleek, stylish and gets great gas mileage. It looks brand new and is such a smooth ride for a larger SUV. The roomy interior and 3rd row of seats accomodates many people.

Great SUV
This car is an excellent value for anyone looking to buy a relatively inexpensive SUV. Mileage is great for an automobile this roomy, and it has a lot of luxury features like heated seats and the navigation system. The price is right, and doesn't really top more than $35000 in most cases, making it within the reach of most families. It is inexpensive to maintain, and it has the Honda reliability and impeccable fit and finish.

Excellent SUV
I have owned this car for 3 years now, and I can tell you that the Pilot beats every other car in its class. My EX-L costs less than a comparable 4Runner, its only credible competition. The interior is classy and no-nonsense. The materials are great and the fit and finish is what you'd expect from a Honda. Gas Mileage is great for a SUV this size, but trips to the gas pump will still bring a few tears to your eyes.
