Not good for a Family, get the Odyssey
I am just replacing my Ody, drove the car for 20 miles, just trying to put things I had in Odyssey in the new Pilot. Back seats are not comfortable at all. They don't tilt much. Not much compartments to store things. I could put my bikes in Ody without any problem, can't to in it. Seats almost fall down flat, not quite. Glove compartment is so small. This could be a nice upgrade from a smaller vehicle. If you have an Ody and don't care about 4WD, get another Ody. This is a great one for just for 2 people who wants a 4X4 on highways.

Worst Honda ever
Puchased 2012 Pilot Touring 2WD back in Feb, 2 oil leaks ever since. Honda quality is going down big time, maybe it's just me being bad luck with this suv. Had 2 oil leak within the last month and the dealer have no clue where the leak come from. I paid $40K for a leaky Pilot pretty much. This is my 5th Honda but never again.

Good solid SUV
Purchased 2012 Pilot EX 4WD after driving Highlander, Explorer, Durango, Pathfinder, and Sequoia. Pilot ticked all our boxes. Though everyone has an opinion, it is silly to say the car is uncomfortable or underpowered or too loud on the freeway as these are only true if compared to a different type vehicle. The Pilot was as or more quiet than all the other vehicles we drove, the seats were as or more comfortable, and accelaeration is completely adequate. This is a very good travel vehicle. But it also does the other jobs well. If you need to use the third seat while stopping by for groceries and then, after while, pick up a load of plywood...well...there are not many SUVs that will do that, be comfortable, quiet, and get reasonable gas mileage. We average 20.7 to work and back and have recieved as high as 25.8 while on a highway only trip. There is no perfect vehicle but this one deserves consideration if your in the market for this type vehicle.

Love it!
I think the pilot is a great family suv with lots of room-8 to be exact! I bought the touring model which is loaded and awesome. I know that there are those who dislike the look of the pilot, but I think it is sharp. I have more fun in this than in my previous auto which was a Volvo xc90.

everything I expected and more
Everything the reviwes said drives like a dream feels solid- no problems on delivery or the thousands of miles I have driven so far. It doesnt have the aceleration that I had in my sports car but then the fuel economy for an SUV is good.

Most versatile - Pilot EX-L
Love the comfort, quietness, sturdiness, and spaciousness. Love the minimalistic look with sleek straight lines. Love the convenience features (the large iMid 8" screen, heated seats, backup camera, power lift gate, climate control, a huge center console). Love how my iPhone syncs via bluetooth for phone and music. This is a perfect vehicle for any families of up to 8. It offers the best value/cost ratio. If you are looking for a 3 row SUV, you must test-drive it to experience its value.

Pilot Touring better buy than a Acura MDX
We struggled with whether or not to spend the money on an Acura MDX until we looked into a Honda Pilot. The Pilot is slightly bigger, gets better gas mileage & its interior is better suited for a family in our situation (we have a 6 yr. old & a 19 mo. old). We chose the Pilot Touring which just means you get BOTH the DVD player AND the navigation system instead of having to pick one. The navigation system, DVD player, back up camera, and dash board are all the exact same as the Acura MDX but the Pilot costs less money. Once we figured that out it was a no brainer! There are also a lot of great accessories you can add, such as, a middle row seat cover to protect from spills from the kiddos and damage to the seats from car seats, roof rack with cross bars, roof box, all weather mats, cargo tray for the trunk, running boards. It really is a great car! We love it!

Love my Pilot!!
I LOVE my Honda Pilot Touring... I have had it 3 weeks now and am so glad I made this decision. We did a lot of research and had our choices narrowed down to a Honda Pilot or Ford Explorer. We test drove each with our children and my 11 year old hated the 3rd row seating in the Ford Explorer, she is very petite and was crammed. She loved the Honda Pilor third row seat. Also, my children love the DVD system. The Ford Explorer doesn't even have this as an option. My children love riding in the Honda Pilot, they get so excited to "go for a ride and watch movies." The only feature that I still need more experience with is the voice activated system. So far I have used it a few times only but was able to ge it to do what I was wanting to do, such as enter an address for GPS and Bluetooth Audio to listen to my music I have on my IPhone.. If I were to recemmend to Honda anything to add in the future it would be cooled seating option and touch screen GPS system.
