Most comfortable car I have owned so far.
This car meets my needs, very comfortable seat with more leg room than my last car, better reading view of the dash, controls, and touch for climate controls. The side mirrors adjust automatically when you backup, so helpful. I am still getting used to the pushbutton start inside the car and the brake pedal on the floor, that the 2015 did not have. I love touching the car handle and it unlocks, as it senses my key in my pocket or purse. Never take it out of my bag. The same automatic response for the trunk, then push button for closure. The sensing technology is the best! It senses a car alongside and lets me know when it is safe to move over or pass, or tells me brake if I get too close, or if I go over the line, it lets me know. Sort of like having the kids telling you to watch out. You can turn it off, but I don’t want too- sort of like having company that does not judge, only helps if you allow it. I think the design is great, glad it changed for this model.

Bought Pilot after extensive research
We were in the market for a comfortable and a reliable 3-row SUV with decent performance and excellent resale value. We researched and test drove Subaru Ascent, Toyota Highlander, VW Atlas, Kia Telluride and Ford Explorer. They are all nice SUVs with very similar safety features. Subaru Ascent was a nice SUV, but felt underpowered and the transmission issues that current owners are reporting turned us away from it. Toyota Highlander was a little rough riding, felt dated both inside/outside and couldn't get LED or Xenon lights (also no apple carplay or android auto). VW Atlas felt roomier than a Pilot. The 6 cylinder was adequately powerful. Ride felt jittery and not as balanced. Interior wasn't as nice as Pilot's. Quality concerns also turned us away from it. Kia Telluride was a nice looking SUV from outside. Lot of features for the money. Interior materials felt a little cheap. We were hesitant to buy this because it is a brand new model and there is no reliability data (also the dealership technicians are not yet trained on this model). It rode OK, but car felt very heavy for the engine. For Explorer felt solid and steady. Plenty of power, nice amenities, and very comfortable. Didn't want to buy the current model because there is a new redesigned model coming later in 2019 and that would cause the current models to depreciate rapidly. Honda pilot felt just right for us....not too hot....not too cold. We test drove and bought a Touring model. We felt the Pilot doesn't excel at anything, but does most things better than all others. It looks nice outside and inside, very comfortable ride, quiet interior, lots of storage, lots of high tech safety features, LED lights, bucket seats in 2 rows, plenty of power (I feel that a naturally aspirated 6 cylinder is better than a 4-cylinder/turbo combination when these SUVs weigh over 4300 pounds), better gas mileage than most SUVs in it's class, rear entertainment system, well planned storage compartment and great reliability (per Consumer Reports). I know it's a long winder review, but I hope it helps you.

Too early to evaluate.
2019 Pilot touring 3 weeks old. I picked the “touring” trim to get the leather seats. So far so goood. Looks great, lots of safety improvements from my previous vehicle, wish it also had lane watch when right turn signal is activated. Workmanship is good. Ride over bumpy roads is a little stiff and you do feel the bumps. Would have given comfort five stars if not for the stiff suspension and feel for bumps. Acceleration from a standstill is sluggish for the horse power this vehicle has. The idle, stop shut off I find to be a nuisance and I usually turn it off. Highway driving is a pleasure and very comfortable. Very quiet ride with a terrific sound system and very compatible with Apple smart phone. Passengers love the heated seats, rear heat and AC, convenience of charging ports . Im not thrilled with how the third row seats are pulled up or folded down by pulling on straps. Gave reliability five stars because I had to give it a rating or cars.com wouldn’t accept my review....only had the vehicle 3 weeks and I expect this from Honda.

2019 Honda Pilot Elite. The best one.
I had own many Honda, Dodge, Ford, Toyota and by far Honda had done and incredible work with this 2019 Honda Pilot Elite. Honda had thought of pretty much everything. This vehicle is loaded with a lot of thecnology and it's very useful. This vehicle drives very comfortable. The fuel consumption is pretty good. The interior is very comfortable and incredibly satisfying to look at. I have no complaints about this vehicle so far and I don't think I would have one, since I really like this Pilot. Excellent job Honda.

New Honda Pilot Touring
Great car but I think it has a few shortcomings. the front passenger seat is a bit too tall... on any of the models it does not have complete adjustment. only forward and back and lean, up/down/tilt like the drivers seat would be great. no apparent tire pressure monitors. otherwise drives great, comfortable but we have not taken any long trips yet. BTW we have had the car less than a week rating the reliability at this point is not relavent

Love the new pilots captain seat in 2nd row
This car is what I was looking for and no messing around with prices and trade in was fair. This was the only dealer in the area that had the color I wanted. So I went to view the color and test drive great improvement over the last pilot I bought 5 years ago nice drive and ride.
