Best Truck at the stage in my life

I've owned Chevys, Fords and a Dodge Ram. I usually run them for 12-15 years at a time. Since I am close to retiring and have downsized everything from big house and shop to a simple house for two and don't need a full size pickup. After being without one for a couple of years I couldn't stand it and started looking at midsize. Looking at Colorado, Tacoma & Frontier and all fine vehicles I checked out the Ridgeline and although the looks didnt overwhelm me at first, like my little Shi-tzu which I thought was the ugliest puppy I ever saw, she grew on me and now is beautiful, haha. The same is for the Ridgeline. Once I drove the pickup I was very impressed. I bought the RTL-E to get the safety features since we travel from South Carolina to Texas twice a year to see family and the older you get, a little assistance is well worth the money. I absolutely love this truck and expect it to be with me until death do us part with Honda reliability and perfect for small hauling that fit my needs. What percentage of people haul big cattle trailers or 5th wheels? This truck is not it, but if I want to haul it will. Just check out the you tube video of the guys doing the test hauling up the Continental Divide and it is quite impressive.. Five stars for me.

A Great Everyday Truck

The Ridgeline is a great truck for most truck owners. It has the versatility one looks for when purchasing a truck. The Ridgeline has that and much more such as a sweet ride, plenty of storage, great gas mileage, plenty of cargo room coupled with seating for 5 in a well built sturdy platform. I have the AWD model for poor weather performance. The electronics are outstanding and the NAV is easy to update on your own.

Pleasant upgrade

This is a pleasant upgrade from the 2014 Generation 1 version. A smoother ride and more bells and whistles to play with. I would recommend to anyone

Time will tell

Just purchased after looking at other brands... Test drive few months ago. I do not pull trailer or go off road so I was sold on the smoothness and comfort of the ridgeline. I bought the RTL-T as I wanted navigation. I agree this is the truck for me and probably for most people if the honestly reported how they use their truck.

Best Riding Pick-up I’ve Ever Owned

I like the handling of the Ridgeline over my last truck(Frontier). It corners much better. The ride is also much better than my last truck. The Ridgeline can’t tow as much as other pick-ups but I seldom tow anything. I do not like using the Economy Mode around town. It’s like the Economy Mode does not use first gear making acceleration slower than other vehicles. Once up to speed, I switch on the Economy Mode and the truck accelerates just fine. The two way tailgate is wonderful because you don’t have to lean over the tailgate to pull out your cargo. The under bed trunk is very nice to store the spare tire and other tools. It’s a great truck!

Most beautiful truck I have ever owned!

This truck is the best! It has not only met all of my needs but has also exceeded them. Talk about roomy and comfortable. The ride is so smooth and quiet. I absolutely love my new Ridgeline!

Outstanding value , style , fit and finish

The car /truck is best in all of the classes , safety , reliability, mpg , priceand drives so much nicer than anything in its class , not to mention excellent resale and no turbo chargers ( sorry Ford )

I LOVE IT!! I'm getting almost 21 mpg :)

I've only had this Ridgeline since after Thanksgiving but so far it is more than what I expected in a "downsized" truck from my Avalanche. I have no complaints and love all the features it has on it.

Most comfortable vehicle I’ve owned

The Honda Ridgeline Black Edition is everything I wanted in a truck. Plenty of hauling and towing capacity for basic home and recreational needs but with the added benefit of having all of the luxuries of a high end car or SUV. Very comfortable cabin and tons of features. Honda put a lot of thought into creating this vehicle and it deserves more recognition.

Didn't expect to love this truck as much as I do

The Ridgeline has so much interior room. Has the space and hauling capacity of a small truck but handles and drives like a car. Special features like built in cooler/ trunk give it differentiation from others in it's class
