Good value
Good car, bought used and owned for nearly 2 years and 30,000 miles later no problems. Gas mileage good, average high 30's but does drop in the cold weather. Servicing is easy, holes on the slid plate under the engine make changing the oil a breeze. Plenty of room inside including the trunk. Plan on keeping for as long as it lasts.
Questionable Air Bags
I was the driver involved in a head-on crash in March 2019 in this vehicle that I purchased new in March 2017, which was totalled. I was stopped in center lane waiting to make a left turn. Other driver going in opposite direction got in center lane too early for his left turn. There was nothing left of my car in front of the windshield. All of it was hanging from front of other car or loose in street. Police photos confirm this. My car was pushed backwards 100 ft. My air bags did not fully inflate. My sternum was fractured in half vertically. This bone cannot be set & must heal over time on its own. I was forced to lie only on my back. Hospitalized. Extensive painful, deep bruising over body. Needed home health nursing. Over 50K in medical bills. Took months to recover. Other driver underinsured. Police photos from all directions show fully inflated air bags in other car but not in my car. In spite of this, I chose my replacement car to be a 2019 Hyundai Accent, hoping the defective air bags were only in the 2017 Elantra.
Best 1st car for my daughter!
This is the perfect car for my daughter. It has a backup camera and safety needs that I needed, and sleek styling she wanted. We have plenty of leg room and trunk space, it has apple play and siriusxm, and a smooth ride.
Best car ever
This car has definitely met all my needs. I am a nanny so my days consist of driving kids around all over the planet! I also go to school far from my house so having a new car had been a dream and made life so much better!
Valued Packed, Clean Styling, Awesome Mileage!
Firstly, its mileage, avg, 36-44 in Eco Mode, highway & city, tons of leg room, headroom, interior takes it design ques from BMW, front end mirrors Audi, huge trunk, plenty of back leg room. feels spacious. It fits the entry level value zone that Honda used to dominate. Great for families, long trips. I spend my days driving , comfort is key. Recommend this car, to one and all...Problem Free ownership..
Absolutely Love It!
Are used to own a 2014 Hyundai ELANTRA, the smaller one. I had bought it used and at 43,000 miles the engine went out. So yes I was very leery of getting another Hyundai ELANTRA. But after doing much research, using the Carfax, and test driving it; I am thoroughly happy to say I am glad I chose the roomie 2017 Hyundai ELANTRA. It is a great vehicle, excellent gas mileage, And still gets mistaken for the bigger Sonata.
Nice, economical car with spunk
This car is great on gas giving me the opportunity to visit my grandkids out of town more while looking great. I hope to pay this one off soon and upgrading to the limited edition. I like gadgets ππ
Beautiful car , low mileage and very dependable
Itβs a comfortable , roomy car and very pretty. They made sure we left with something very nice. Interiors like brand new. The car is perfect
Worst car ever
This car has been repaired more than any other I've ever owned. Thermostat replacements, computer updating, replacing spark plugs, coils and other things just to get it to not misfire on two of four cylinders. I should be on Hyundai's payroll for the amount of time I've spent at the dealership getting my Elantra Limited repaired!
Great car
This car is a great car. Smooth ride and gets terrific gas mileage. Really liking the features of this car. Heated seats are a bonus!
