Great Value!

Was looking for a replacement car for our 2015 Nissan Murano. While looking at Sorrento's at the local Kia dealer noticed and then test drove the Telluride. Very nice car but more "truckish" than the Hyundai Palisade. Also, the top of the line Telluride SX only came with black wheels which I did not want. So went to the local Hyundai dealer, test drove the Palisade and loved it. The Palisade cost a little more than the Telluride but in my opinion is much more refined. Looked at both the SEL and Limited versions. There is a fairly large price jump (about $7,000) between these two versions but with the Limited you get the Nappa quilted leather, dual panel moonroof, Harmon Kardon sound system, upgraded headliner, ventilated front seats, heated/cooled rear seats, third row power seats, digital dash, ambient lighting, driver seat cushion extension and blind spot warning. Due to high demand and short supply, dealers are charging $2-$10,000 over sticker. I finally found two dealers each about a 2.5 hours drive that were charging no more than invoice. Never paid full invoice for any car I ever previously bought but for a high demand car, full invoice is a good price. Plus, at a price of $46,000, the car is equal to or better than other higher end cars like Audi, Acura, Mercedes, Lexus, etc. that cost $20-$50,000 more. I have had the car about a month now. The ride is fantastic and can be adjusted to several different driving modes. The seats are very comfortable and the Nappa leather is top notch. The Harmon Kardon sound system is probably the best I have ever had in any car. The digital dash is awesome and when you engage the turn signal, a camera view down either the right or left side of the car pops up in the dash, temporarily replacing the speedometer and RPM dials. The Infotainment system is simple and easy to use touch screen. The push button transmission is nice (the Telluride has a traditional stick shifter). My wife loves the large storage area under the console for storing her purse. The independent heating/cooling module for the second row is nice. Each seating row has its own cupholders, even the third row. The second row is power down, manual up and the third row is power up and down. No car is perfect and here are a few minor negatives. The on/off start button is hidden by the steering wheel. The wireless phone charger pad is located in the bottom of the console well along with both cup holders. I can envision spilling coffee on my I-phone someday. Whenever you walk by the proximity lift gate opener it beeps and wants to open. I believe that is why most other car companies use the "leg kick" system. The engine seems to be noisy at idle on the outside of the car but fortunately cannot be heard on the inside. Not sure why they did not offer a panoramic moonroof rather than two separate moonroof. There is a "wind whistle" coming from the driver's side door. In conclusion, this is a fantastic car for the money.

From MERCEDES to HYUNDAI, HUMMMM

Sold my GL450 got a Palisade, wanted all the safety features available and the Hyundai had them. So far very impressed, i prefer the suspension on the Palisade way more; it's way more roomy inside especially in the 3rd row, friends have commented on this fact. Only fault which i hope can be fixed, is the high wind noise coming from driver window when i'm on the highway. The MERCEDES was the quietest vehicle i have owned. Missing which i wish the Palisade had was power folding mirrors, this is a big wide vehicle. Inside is beautiful and the warranty can not be beat, hands down a winner.

Most beautiful and high tech smooth driving SUV

Comfortable ride with the most leg room I have ever had driving and riding in an SUV. High tech! Loaded with exquisitely designed interior and technology, I feel like I am piloting a spaceship. Human factors engineers outdid themselves with the most functional info-tainment screen and backlit buttoned dash and ambient lit controls I have ever seen. I am so impressed! Low to no road noise, excellent speakers, plush seats, and features everywhere. I am so happy with our purchase!

We just bought it two weeks ago.

We purchased this SUV two weeks ago and we love it! We bought the fully loaded limited. The interior is beautiful and the dash looks like a spaceship control center. It looks like a Lexus interior inside without the Lexus price. It also has a lot of get up and go because it has a 291 hp V6. You really do get a lot of features and value for the money if you compared it to many luxury SUV's and it's not in the luxury category.

Great vehicle.

I first do shopping on car appearance. Which I know, you shouldnt probably do, but what the heck. The Palisade has ample room and rides extremely well. Has a lot of features I didn't even know existed! Love it!

Very comfortable. You get a lot for your money.

I bought this vehicle a month ago all in all it's great. However I start having issues with the blind spot monitoring system two weeks after I bought it. Well I said I have a hundred thousand mile warranty no problem right? Wrong. I called the dealer and they told me I most likely have to pay out-of-pocket. They said simple ball hitting the bumper could damage the sensor and that is not covered. Dad was a shock!

Doors wont open

We are constantly having issues with our doors on the passenger side of the vehicle not opening. It happens with the car in park or the engine off. The door cant be opened by the key fob. Sometimes have to turn the car on and off a few times to get doors to work.
