love this truck
Just purchased a 2008 MXT, I love it, had a CXT which I really like but it was just too big to use everyday, the MXT is perfect. The fact that so very few were made truly makes this vehicle an investment that the value will just continue to climb.

In a class all to yourself
If you want to have a truck that walks the walk and head turning attention this is your truck. Its larger than life package is remarkably smooth and comfortable. The International diesel has pleanty of power to run at highway speeds and can tow my boat no problem. As everyone else says you will be stopped at the store, and draw a crowd wherever you go. So if you ever have the opportunity to own one add an additional 20 minutes to your erand runs.

International MXT 2008 Amazing Truck!!!
Great truck!!! Can do anything and is a blast to drive. Have had no issues with anything and it draws more attention than any other vehicle I have ever owned, including all the Italian ones :) You will love it. Also, didn't have any of the rust issues the other reviewer talked about not sure, but maybe that had to do with salt from iced roads??? I was in an area that didn't snow and have no rust on my truck.

All exterior chrome parts rusted after 1 winter
My husband and I purchase our MXT in June 2007. We love the vehicle and think it has a great look, great ride (for the type of vehicle it is) and is a real eye catcher on the road (everyone wants to stop and look at it). The major problem is that every exterior chrome part on the truck rusted this winter (even with regular maintenance). There is a lot of chrome on the truck (running boards, bumpers, rims/lug nut covers, tow hooks, etc) and all of them now have significant rust on them. We have contacted the dealership and the regional rep for International and they are unwilling to take care of the rust issue on a vehicle that is less than 1 year old and has less than 12,000 miles on it (that we kept well maintained during the winter). We have several other trucks that cost less than the $90K plus that we paid for this vehicle and none of them have rust on the bumper, rims, etc. For a vehicle to have such a high purchase price and a company to have such a low service standard is unacceptable. I'd talk to the dealership you are purchasing the vehicle from to find out if they will cover any rust issues that arise on the vehicle. I've never seen a new vehicle rust that quickly.
