Build like a tank very reliable low repair cost

Very reliable after 18 years only $900 in repairs besides standard oil/transmission fluid changes. Excellent starter car for small family or someone needed small 4x4 to get around. Only down side is low MPG

subaru

like a boat always putting money, first the engine, then radiator 3 times, water pump 2 times, headliner sagging down everywhere, that's majer driving hazard when it falls in front of your face. the back hatch wires broken wont open. door speakers stopped working, broken wires could go on and on.

Great Car, low maintenance, easy to fix

I bought this Jeep used, it had a replaced engine and trans but it ran like a champ for me for the 5 years I owned it. I had some fixes here any there but since it was an older Jeep, they were all so low compared to some other SUVs and Trucks I've owned. Loved this body style since I was younger and wanted a few years without a car payment. Paid off for me and had a blast doing it also while learning about Jeeps and working on cars.

great everyday any terrian any season!

Great for any purpose, its not a hotrod and does lack in the hp department but plenty of tq and good mpg for the size. Cheap to maintain and upgrade with parts everywhere!

THIS JEEP IS THE ONE EVERYONE WANTS TO HAVE. 2000 IS THE LAST OF THIS BODY TYPE AND IS A CLASSIC. EVRYTHING RUNS PERFECTLY. JUST PASSED THE SMOG CHECK FOR MARCH REGISTRATION RENEWAL. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER AND HAVE CLEAN TITLE. NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT. KEPT IN A GARAGE. 187000 MILES WHICH IS LOW MILAGE FOR THIS JEEP. THIS IS MY SECOND JEEP. LAST ONE SOLD WITH 225000 MILES 18 YEARS AGO. THIS JEEP IS A HEAD TURNER. I AM SURE IT WILL SELL QUICKLY SO... MAINTANANCE; TUNE UP 2016, TIRES 2016 (50k TIRES WITH 20k ON THEM), REAR SHOCKS 2016, NEW BATTERY, BRAKES 2017, OIL CHANGE LAST MONTH, NOTHING ELSE NEED TO BE DONE FOR A LONG TIME. EVERYTHING WORKS GREAT. EVERY SWITCH, POWER WINDOWS, AC/HEAT, WIPERS AND WINDOW WASH, POWER IN PLUGS FOR YOUR ELECTRONICS, CRUISE CONTROL. I MEAN EVERYTHING WORKS GREAT! UPGRADED SONY BLUETOOTH STEREO WITH CD AND AUX PLUG, UPGRADED SPEAKERS AS WELL. I AM A MUSIC FAN. I AM SORT OF TALKNG MYSELF OUT OF SELLING THIS JEEP. I LOVE IT AND IT SHOWS. It's been good to me for many years. Have kept up on all maintenance. With the Jasper motor it should last another 150 to 200,000 miles
