It has owned up to everything they said about it.
I love the car. It has a great ride, power, fuel economy and electronics. There is so much functionality. I had a 2016 and upgraded to the limited this time. They seemed to have corrected or improved a lot on the car. Recommended Highly.

2019 Jeep Cherokee Limited
I am disappointed with my purchased of the vehicle. The headliner is falling apart - Both Driver and passenger side are shredding and I have not even gotten the vehicle title yet. The space in the rear is smaller than the trunk of the Honda Accord that I junked. eg. Can't carry two golf club bags without putting the seats down. Vehicle power is average. At times the kick feature lags to open the rear door. Apple Car play has issues with connecting at times. Parking assist is off when parking the car. 3 stars were given because the car drives and do handles OK. Other than that, the vehicle appears to be cheaply put together. I believe that Chrysler was more concerned with the technology group than the quality and comfort of the vehicle.

Not a good car. I would not recommend it.
I brought a brand new 2015 jeep Cherokee latitude after almost 3 years motor oil started to leak inside the front passenger seat. Got it fix and traded in for the 2019 Cherokee latitude plus. A month after took it back to dealer with the same problem the first one had. Got it fix and now 4 months after was fixed it's back to the dealer with same problem they fixed back in Nov. 2018 I bought this car brand new in Oct. 2018, with 17 miles. And in less than 6 months it's been in the dealer for repair twice. It seems to me like a factory problem but dealer won't exchange it I just don't know what to do

Great ride but very unreliable
My 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk with 19,000 miles on was great right up until the Power Transfer Unit failed which in turn cause the transmission to catastrophically fail. Jeep is refusing to cover the $13,000 repair bill under warranty. As I was coming to a stop at a rural intersection, i got hung up on a small snow drift. After about 30 minutes of getting in and out of the car while trying all the different 4x4 modes and shoveling, everything exploded. By exploded, I mean I was picking up shrapnel off the ground and transmission fluid was pouring out. This happened while the transmission temp gauge was no higher than 180f. When a person is stuck in the snow, it usually requires spinning the tires a bit, trying to go both forward & reverse, etc. I won't say I was babying the Cherokee, because I wasn't, but I was not revving it up to redline or being overly hard on it. Jeep of course is trying to say its all my fault but as of this moment, they have not released and specific details to me on exactly how it was my fault or what the criteria is for it being my fault. I do know that after buying a brand new $40,000 Jeep vehicle, I wont ever buy an FCA product again. Dont believe the "all weather capable" hype, the photos I have prove that it isn't!

Over-priced/under-powered
This particular vehicle is equipped with a 4 cyl. turbo (rated at 4,000 # towing capacity). The engine is noisy and I found it under-powered while towing much less than the capacity rating. The rear seats do not fold down enough to make the rear deck flat, making anything you slide in, catch at the fold. This vehicle has only been driven 300 miles, so, not enough to evaluate other areas.
