A Vehicle That Stands Out Against The Rest
For someone who likes to keep their vehicle long after it's paid off, I was discouraged with sticker shock when I was car shopping for a new vehicle. I mainly searched online for my vehicles and went in to test drive if something caught my eye. I first test drove the base Cherokee but did not like the how it drove. Later I saw a commander online and wasn't immediately drawn to it but what sold me was the test drive. Once I drove it, I knew it was what I wanted. The styling grew on me and I now love it because it has its own unique look in a world of cars that all look the same. The pros would be how it handles and rides on the freeway. The cons would be that the underbody rusts quickly.
best Jeep I've had. #3
comfortable. handles well. hugs the road. I use it to tow a 20 foot trailer. Wish they were still be made
Not the Jeeps of old
Bought cheaply. Style comfort nice. AWD excellent. Mileage fair. Reliability not impressed. Replaced water pump, starter, brakes, tires, windshield, transmission sensor.
Very nice and clean alots of Extera you need to
Excellent ride best condition from 10 this car is 10 hard to find that clean car clean inside and outside best 4wheel drive ever 3row seat need to offer high quality service performance
Super sporty with a touch of classy
I didn't know that this was the car I was looking for. But man am I happy I found it! It was exactly within my budget, fit my style, feels super reliable, and will be perfect for all conditions on the road. Great engine too! Absolutely fits my sporty yet classy style that's hard to find. The gas milage isn't ideal, but when you consider everything else about this car it's easily worth it.
Great Car, Great Engine!
Realiable, powerfull, low maintenance. Loved this truck. Towed 7000 lb trailer across the country and, through the Dakota winds, and the Rocky Mountains. The Commander was just that! A commander of the road.
It grew on me
I bought this because I needed a third row seating option quickly. At first I viewed it as a station wagon with all wheel drive until after owning it for a few months I really began to appreciate it. It drove smooth, looked good, and felt good. The gas mileage sucked but no more than my Chevy Silverado. Id still have this Jeep today if it wasn't for a Drunk Driver.
Worst vehicle I've ever owned!
First off in the first 2 months of owning battery died, then 1 year later the antifreeze bypass hose was leaking, now after having the jeep for 4 years a piston destroyed, destroying my engine now gonna cost me $3000, mechanic told me Jeep should recall for it cause it is a known problem and has been since they came out with it.
Nothing but fun. Took it off roading and it did everything I wanted it to do the suspension was great the horsepower was awesome I was very impressed and happy with the Jeep Commander
This car has a lot of leg room , I love that the middle seats also come down so we can fit dressers, tables, etc. and not miss having a truck. Also much better gas mileage than our old truck. It handles well for all the hills in Pittsburgh and although purchased used with regular maintenance this car is just perfect for what we need.
