Best car we have had yet
This car is comfortable up front and in the middle with a ton of room for luggage...groceries or what ever. Looks pretty cool too. No major issues since we bought is used 6 years ago

Owned for 3 years and love it!
I've owned this Commander for 3 years now and love it. With the HEMI you can't go wrong. Lots of power for daily driving or for towing. The limited edition is nice with a lot of great features. Has a third row seat, however it is not very practical unless you have small children as there is not very much room. I just kept the third row down and gave myself a lot of space for hauling stuff. Have always wanted to own a commander since Jeep came out with it in 2006 and I'm glad I went for it!

It?s a spacious vehicle
I wish the vehicle got better gas mileage. I feel like with a V6 I should be getting at least 19 miles to the gallon, but that is not the case. I got better gas mileage in a V8 Chevy Silverado.

Most comfortable Jeep ever
I have owned 5 keeps in my lifetime, and this is my second Commander. They ride very mannerly for a 4x4 Jeep unlike my Wranglers and Cherokees. I bought another one because the added luxury you don't really get with Wrangler. I gave the Commander a 4star rating in performance due to poor gas mileage, and not being as capable as a Wrangler or Cherokee. If you drive in snow, you have to ditch the stock tires, otherwise your going nowhere if there's more than 4 inches. Heated seats are amazing, they get almost to warm. Sunroof with extra skylights is why I love the Commander the most. I would absolutely love to own a Landrover Discovery, but their reliability is abysmal, Jeep Commander is the answer for all those Disco fans.

Problems could arise
When we test drive it, we heard a big slush of water in the overhead and down to the dash. They discovered that the luggage rack had leaked and promised to fix it. But our concern was the damage that the water had already caused internally and with the electronics.

Great car, not great on gas
Great car, good room, not great on gas with about 15 miles to the gallon on the highway. This is the only downfall of the Jeep

Cool Style and a Great Ride.
Traded my Jeep JK Unlimited for the Jeep Commander. I've had it for about three weeks and liking it more everyday. I needed something that I could tow a horse trailer. Although I haven't towed the horses yet, I'm sure it'll do fine. I purchased mine with a Hemi. I wouldn't even have considered towing the horses with the Wrangler. Nice quiet smooth ride, plenty of room (compared to Wrangler) and a lot of pick up when needed. It's a change going from a Wrangler with basic options I needed to the Commander with every option I can think of. The only issue I have is a hit on gas mileage. I was getting about 18 MPG on Wrangler 4dr and getting an average of 15.5 city/hwy MPG on Commander. I drive this thing like a grandma to get the best gas mileage I can get but hey, it's a HEMI. I knew what I was getting. If you love Jeeps, comfort and style, the Commander is great! I would definitely recommend.
