Great vehicle but room to improve

Bought the New 2017 Limited Compass right out of the gate in 2017. Exterior styling is amazing (many compliments), love the grille, black roof is sharp. Interior is great with the exception of no place to put sunglasses/phone. Electronics have been a bit glitchy - remote start rarely works, screen freezes often. Wish the shifting was more aggressive. Put your foot on the gas and it seems bogged down in a gear that's too high, very unresponsive acceleration. I always override the auto-feature that turns the car off at idle - a few incidents that I felt were unsafe. It drives really well in snow but I once bent the underbody shield on city streets after a snowfall. It's a pretty, but delicate Jeep. I love this vehicle but I hope some improvements came with the next model years before I buy another :)

2017 Jeep Compass Trailhawk

Had great experience working w/ HUSKER Auto, Lincoln NE. Jeep was priced reasonably, negotiated down some. They worked w/ me on new battery and new screen. So far was very positive experience.

2017 keep compass latitude

My 2017 keep compass latitude has back up mirror defect. Someday it works and someday it doesn’t. I almost got into other cars so many times as the back up mirror gets too slow or black out completely. So I am extra careful every time I drive. And also emergency break system doesn’t work . I never use when I drive since the day I got struck in the middle of traffic. But overall I still love my Jeep for its show and comfortability.

Problems

I purchased the compass brand new. It wasn’t 3 years old and my service airbag light kept coming on. It went to the dealer numerous times finally fixed it. Now I’m replacing the right axel and the exterior battery. I’m still paying a car note. So no I do not recommend this vehicle. I only have 62,000 miles on my truck.

Affordable SUV

I've always wanted a jeep, but im not very wealthy so I had to look for a more affordable SUV for my budget. I have a 2017 Jeep compass latitude, and I purchased it for 17,300 with 33,000 miles on it. The interior/exterior is very sleek and comfortable, I love that it is 4 wheel drive and has snow/sand/mud feature. The touchscreen, Bluetooth, and back up camera is nice and it is a compact SUV. Only a 4 cylinder so don't expect it to go very fast very quick. No heated seats, or a steering wheel but overall I love my car and would recommend.
