2018 Jeep Compass consumer reviews

2018 Jeep compass trailhawk was bought in July of 2019. Vehicle ran fine until July of 2020. Vehicle would display multiple service lights, at random times the vehicle would not shift, vehicle wouldn’t go over 40 on highway. Eventually the vehicle quit starting all together. Vehicle was taken to dealer on September 22nd of 2020. They said it needed a software update, so they charged me $300 and sent me on my way. Vehicle was immediately returned as the update did nothing. Dealer advised (a month later) it had a bad valve body and transmission control module. The part didn’t arrive until early November 2020. Dealer didn’t even install the part until January 20th of 2021. After the install they advised the vehicle still doesn’t work and don’t know what the issue is. My vehicle has been in the shop for 4 months now with no end in sight. The dealer was very lazy and didn’t care about my situation (in fact they loaned me a wrecked vehicle, and tried to blame me when I complained. But I had pictures of the damage from when I took possession). I’m short, don’t waste your time or money with Jeep/Dodge/Fiat. I live in Illinois, where lemon law doesn’t cover used vehicles. So I am completely stuck. Don’t make the same mistake.

This Jeep is perfect for me. It is the color and style I wanted. The payment is perfect for me as well. I have only had it for a few days, but I am happy to feel safe.

Lots of extras that I’ve never had before in my cars! Heated steering wheel, auto start, keyless entry, sunroof that goes on forever! Smooth ride! Comfy!

Love this vehicle!! Nothing I can say about it negative. In a spoiled girl now. Rides smooth, amazing through the snow. Love all the little perks.

This car has all the bells and whistles! It's Baja all the way! Love the orange! The spoiler and top rack makes it stand out!

I purchased this vehicle pre-owned... its only been about 3 days, but so far so good! The "Cold Weather" package is great and I like the automatic 4-wheel drive that also comes with manual override selections. I LOVE all the settings that customize your experience! From when the heated seats/steering wheel automatically come on to what device will automatically connect for BOTH calls and audio. I have driven a lot of newer cars for my job and the Compass is easily a favorite!

Beautiful car but nonstop problems- I’ve had more issues with this car in 30k miles than I did my last car over 10 years. AC was broken when I picked it up new off the lot- Took 3 service appointments over a year to get it fixed. Frequent problems with oil pressure but hopefully better moving forward after system update/recall. Friends with 2019 Compass seem to have less issues.

This vehicle has the bells and whistles I need for my wife. Backup cameras, remote start for those cold mornings, and air bags. The leather interior design is perfect.

This car met all my needs. I love the Stylish interior. Excellent Safety features. Love the Sunroof. Rides very smoothly. I liked the free oil changes although now I have to pay for them.

The car had very low mileage, it drives very well, and extremely comfortable. I love the compact version of an SUV which is much better on gas.
