Stay away from Chrysler & Jeep
I bought it with 800 miles on it, I think it was a lemon law car. The dealer had it most of the first month. The check engine light kept coming on ! They were working with engineers from Chrysler as to why it was happening! First Oxygen sensor then fuel injectors then something else! For a month then they finally figured out it needed a new computer!! I just got the congratulations on 1 year anniversary of owning it in an E-mail from the dealer and a light came on the Gismo that starts and stops the engine at redlights or stop signs!! I called but they could get me in for 10 days so I made the appointment Told me it was a 3 hour appointment it was one of the batteries! I told them I only had one. "Oh no you have a Large one under the one you see!" The service rep tells me. It was under warranty but endend up being the small one! I tried trading that day Cost me close to $50,000 a year before they offered $30,000 I went to another dealer and traded it! Lost my A_ s! but got a Chevy I can count on!

Don’t buy it
Since we have had our gladiator we have not found it to live up to what we were told. First issue was a problem with the fuel tank vent causing fuel to spill out and poor gas mileage TOOK 6 months to get the problem resolved! Unacceptable! Second issue is the rear and front windshields. Our rear windshield busted out and we have no Idea how. Talking with the repair people it’s very common both are very weak because there is no frame so it breaks very easy. Third this underpowered turd cannot tow with any kind of tolerable gas mileage. Cost us a fortune to tow our small 22’ RV trailer.

What’s Not to Like
This is a.rock solid vehicle that defines “utility” better than all the rest. You have tons of ways to configure the vehicle every day. Open air roof, doors off, entire top off, pick-up truck uses, off roading, climbing, travel, snowshoeing, skiing, snow driving, trails and dirt roads, hiking, carry bed loads, trailering, ATVs, etc, etc, etc. No way to ever find it boring. Plus, the extra bonus of the culture, friendliness, the wave, jeep groups, and the way it promotes and nurtures getting outdoors and getting active. No issues. Alpine stereo is great. Nav is great. Heat is great. comfort great, carrying fun loads great, towing to 4K lbs great. No complaints.

Good and bad. Better suited to warmer climates.
Don't buy this vehicle in freezing climates. The windshield and wiper blades freeze while driving in freezing snowing conditions. The door latch mechanisms also freeze, doors are hard to stay latched. My windshield broke with a loud pop in a Wendy's parking lot. Seems the hot and cold from the icing at the bottom and the hot heat off the defroster breaks these gorilla glass windshields. Mopars refuses to.do anything under warranty even though it's an issue. The good? Great 4 wheel drive, transfer case shifter very hard to pull. The ecodiesel I got gets up to 30 mpg on highway. About 17 in town when not sitting at idle to warm up. 1st regen was at about 1500 miles.

Great vehicle poor local warranty service
I think my 2022 Gladiator is one of the top vehicles I have owned The only drawback is the lack of warranty service from my local Jeep dealer.

Explore New Areas
Great vehicle for enjoying the outdoors in being able to explore new places other vehicles could not go. Looks like a vehicle that can take you into areas safely.

Gladiator will be the next Jeep superstar.
I am a old school jeep owner, what they have come up with in the Gladiator is a hit. The ride along with rugged styling and performance and a usable pickup bed is fantastic.

Fun little truck
Great little truck. Not for towing heavy trailers, but will do just about anything else you need it to do. Rides great slightly smaller interior than the wrangler

2020 and 2022 Mojave
Specifically the Mojave is the most completely usable small truck in all aspects. It’s a Jeep truck that handles better than any other Jeep ever produced. My 2020 took a broadside direct hit from a Toyota Tundra and took it like a champ. I barely felt it and the passenger side didn’t cave in like you would expect. It goes anywhere and protects the occupants from injury. That’s why I purchased a 2022 when it was deemed a total loss.
