EV6 problems. - do read

I have a EV 6 GT and the car has already spent 30 days at the dealership. First the Internal Command Control Center had to be replaced with three tries. The car stopped charging on the level 2 home charger and could only be charged at a commercial level 1. Now the 12 volt battery that starts the car and runs all the accessories has died and the car has been at the dealership over two weeks waiting for a replacement. Very disappointed

Awesome choice!

I’ve had it for a week and I’m loving it. I purchased the Shell portable charger from Amazon bc we already had a 50amp outlet at our home. Super fun and responsive to drive, I’ve gotten lots of compliments and “I can’t believe that’s and EV”. Roomy enough for passengers and gear. No regrets! I have the white Pearl LINE AWD.

Kia is serious about EVs

I have the AWD wind with the Tech pkg. only have 600 miles on it so far. Love the car. Lots to learn though!. I charge in my garage. Nice to not have to worry about the price of gas. Kia is seriously competing in the EV arena.

Love my EV6, and…

I LOVE my Yacht Blue EV6 GT Line car. It goes when I hit the peddle! I was pleasantly surprised to see just how quickly it would get up to speed on the Highway, and it is comfortable cruising local roads. It takes bumps well, corners comfortably, and is quiet, with little road noise. The working moon roof helped me choose the EV6 over the Ioniq5. The exterior sporty-looking exterior design is attention getting vs. the more boxy Ioniq5. I agree with others who have compared this to being a cross between sports car and station wagon rather than an SUV. Can’t stand that I can’t lower the volume noise when backing up; the toggle between radio/media and cabin comfort frequently leads to toggling other buttons on the center console

An amazing intro to EV ownership

The fit and finish, comfort, and performance of our roomy 2022 KIA EV6 have been terrific. It handles well and is a blast to drive. (The dealership did NOT try to charge a premium!) With 1,500 miles on the odometer now we've spent just $70 to charge the EV6. What's not to like?

Great EV

This car is amazing. I was an EV early adapter, owning a 2012 Tesla Model S signature series. We purchased a 2022 EV6 Wind w/tech package after letting the Tesla go. This vehicle has all of the torque and handling of the Tesla, with all of the amenities of a luxury car. Note that it doesn’t feel as violently fast as the Tesla w/85 kW/h battery, but the 0-60 time is the same. Must be the chassis. The interior and exterior design are beautiful and functional, and the technology is top notch. Self parking, remote start, intelligent cruise control, plenty of space for gym bags, range bags, ski equipment, backpacks, etc. and I can actually store things in the console! AWD and enough ground clearance to get out in the woods is a plus. Overall, I’m really happy, and I’m usually one that has a lot of buyers remorse. Not this time!

EV6 GT

We have fallen in love with this car !!! It is so advanced in all area's. Cabin has so much space. Comfort and stylish inside and out. I am not so impressed with the wait time to get the charger as it has been over 6 week's and still no charger. With that said our sale's man has gone above and beyond to make sure our car stay's charged. The only thing on the inside of the car is the silver spot on the center console give's a blinding glair at times from the sun hitting it. We got the GT model and was shocked at how fast it take's off. We had the hybid niro. Overall very impressed with the car and even more impressed with our KIA dealership !!!

My first EV

This is my first EV. Great looking car with great driving dynamics. Car is comfortable, with plenty of room for rear passengers. So excited to park my car and wake up to full battery. This car is plenty fast and has plenty of power. Lots of technology. Some of the technology that you find are only available at the cars that are pushing $100K. Driving it economy mode with regen braking gives you 300 plus miles easily. No more oil changes, no more gas stops!

Beyond wowed

I've had this car for 1,000 miles now and it is a fabulous vehicle. It has the interior quality of an Audi, the performance of a V8 hemi challenger, and the fuel efficiency of a Prius. What more could you ask for? The drive of the car is great on so many levels. The suspension is tuned perfectly. It is a comfortable ride but still with enough stiffness that you can drive hard and push through curves and corners extemely well. Acceleration is instantaneous and very potent. And braking is mostly handled by the regen system saving the life of your brakes. The regen system is adjusted by the steering wheel toggles and has four setting, I believe. Very easy and intuitive to use. Stereo is very nice. It's not the best ever production stereo but it's more than adequate. The infotainment and touchscreen controls are near perfection. Extremely zippy performance and everything just seems to make sense. Only little issue I've found is sometimes I bump the seat warmer/cooler controls while using the touchscreen. Overall to find anything truly wrong would be nitpicking in such a well designed, well produced vehicle.
