MPG far exceeds EPA rating during warm/hot months with an average of 50-55mpg during regular commute. it does drop during winter months but it bounces right backup as soon as warmer temperature. Touring model has '18 wheels and excellent for long distance ride and everything works seamlessly and rock solid reliable with 60k odo on original tire. Niro has safety system that the our new Lexus NX350 that cost 2x as much doesn't have. sound is automatically reduced when reversing.

Bought this Niro LX brand new.

Bought this Niro LX brand new. I was impressed with it within the first hour. Plenty of power when you need it, plenty of economy all the time. We currently have 68,000 miles on it, and the only thing I have had to get fixed is the A/C system which was under warranty. We take long trips in this car and always average over 50 mpg. Driving in town gets 54 - 56mpg. It is so very quiet, even when the ICE is running. Its a shame that the price of these has risen over $10,000 since we bought ours. Not a car that I would pay $30,000 for. I have purchased 3 Kias since this one, and I love them all.

Best purchase yet.

I love my gas mileage almost 600 miles on a fill-up costing under $30. BUT my AC went out around 80,000 that sucks it cost almost $3000 to fix at the dealership. Beside that I love this car.

Excellent MPG

2019 Kia Niro was purchased used in August 2022. During test drive it did not blow cold air. Thankfully it was under warranty and repaired in a few days. Steering wheel volume control did not work when turning volume down, only up, and it was brought in and repaired under warranty within 2 hours. Great warranty. I have not had any issues since those two things and hopefully do not have any more. Drives like a dream and I’m averaging 54MPG

Please be aware of this car

I had a 2019 Kia niro that had 20,000 on it. It caught fire in my carport out of the blue. It burnt my house down and my neighbors house down. The fire got so hot it melted the Engine out of the car. Please be careful when buying this car. Look them up and read the story’s about this car please.

Definitely recommend this car

My first Kia. It’s a win. I drive a fair amount and I’m averaging about 47 mpg. It has as much storage room as my Subaru outback did, and get double the gas mileage. Has some neat features like the cruise control with automatic car spacing which I find fantastic since I drive on the highway all the time. I see people always talking about power, but I cruise control at 82 on the highway no sweat. You can’t go much faster than that around here so I’m completely satisfied with that performance. I definitely recommend this car.

GREAT CAR & EVEN BETTER MPG

In todays day with gas prices as high as they are.. this is the car to own/drive. I have 135000 miles on my Niro and it drives great. I average 46 MPG and I do not drive easy on it. Great car for people with long commutes and with the seats down the cargo area is very spacious. You will not be disappointed with this vehicle. You wont win any drag races, but you will be saving lots of money at the pump.

Excellent car, great gas mileage, reliable

Really glad I got a Nero. A lot less expensive than a Prius, but just as lovely and reliable. It has more interior room than the Prius. Reliable performance, excellent gas mileage

Good car

I have 12000 miles on it so far. No mechanical issues so far. It handles well and is comfortable. If I drive it easy I can get 50+ MPG, if I drive it hard 30's.
