I would tell everyone to avoid this car!!
Well my door handle broke on the outside & the silver trim is all coming off all over the car & the interior is going to pieces side doors bubbling up and lots of recalls and paint coming off!!

Good car but has its problems too.
Of course after my 2013 warranty ran out started to find some engine problems- just two but annoying and time consuming. At the two year point the paint started flacking. No just a small patch like a scrap put the size of a quarter. Then more and more. Not to the point of regret. Car was well maintained with frequent wax treatments. Inside the plastic pieces started to break then came the glove compartment box. And the back door bracket that keeps the door open broke—-plastic. The touch screen for gps maps stopped working to the touch and didn’t after multiple mx visits. Purchase at Kia Vero Beach 110,000 miles. Good used car for around town driving.

2013 kia optima review
I bought ths car and besides the recalls on it, it's been a great car. Great gas mileage, looks sporty enough for this 60 yr old woman. I would of preferred leather interior and chrome wheels. Also wanted sunroof but for the year it had great mileage

Lost all confidence in my Kia optima
My kia seized on me going 70 mph on Hwy. No check engine light or oil light gave any warnings!! Kia did replace engine but it now has less power and not good gas mileage. I loved my car, but wish I could afford to trade it. I'm a single lady and don't trust my car to get me to any destination.

Good dependable car.
This car was purchased 3 years ago and I had to only replace the starter. The steering wheel coupler went bad luckily it was a recall on it so it was covered.

She's been a good one
So my fiancé purchased her 2013 Kia Optima LX in 2016 and the crap I gotta tell you about this car first off don't try changing the back rotors by yourself. Your welcome! Next I have griped about this car since she purchased it without really taking the time to feel the experience. When I first drove it I was like ehh not enough power "Slap shift helps" but, what can I expect from a sedan. Now maintaining this thing. The parts are expensive as s**t my Infiniti doesn't even cost this much on parts so Kia idk xxx y'all smoking but okay. Other than that we purchased this thing with 74k miles and today it's at 167,269 miles and all I've done other than standard tires oil and brakes is the alternator finally went out 2 weeks ago. I got a new one and she seems fine so we'll see how much longer it lasts cause y'all making me lose hope in this xxx! Lol

Great car with 270hp you really feel the power.
There's plenty of room. I am 6'3 and I have so much legroom in the front and the back. There are heated seats in the back and the front has heated and cooled seats. The infinity stereo system is one of the best systems I have heard in a car hands down. This car drives so smooth even when driving at high speeds and it corners well. Overall this is a great buy for the price you pay.

Nice car, sporty!
I had a sonata and the optima is nicer being from the same company. Nice ride, sporty look, head turning. I've had no issue with the car thus far. Only issue was with the dealer Car Max.

This car has been awful. It has caused me nothing
This is the worst car that I ever owned. KIA doesn't like to stand behind their lousy product. I will never recommend a KIA OPTIMA to anyone. One thing after another. Always needing brakes or some other issue every single day. No more KIA for me and my family. No Thanks KIA!!!!
