2013 Kia Optima consumer reviews

I have 2013 Kia Optima sx. 2nd owner I got it at 20,000 miles. I have nothing but one huge mechanic bill after the other with out fail every year I have a huge mechanic bill!!! Learned my lesson I will do major research on any thing I buy from here on out!! I call my car a beautiful piece of sh*t !

I really love this car. I got the EX trim with the upgraded interior and sound system. I get excellent gas mileage and maintenance has been minimal. Currently I have 62k miles and other than oil changes and tire rotations the only repair I've needed was a brake caliper that froze when installing new brake pads. I love the upgraded sound system with the digital 630 watt amp and 8 Infinity speakers and a subwoofer. Handling is excellent and when traveling over 80mph it's as smooth as doing 30mph. The only negatives are the stock tires are terrible in winter, no spare tire included and the Traction Control is awful. The features, low maintenance and reliability far outweigh the negatives. I am currently looking at purchasing a new Optima only because they added so many new safety features.

I absolutely loved this car, until it cut off going down highway to find out that the motor is seized and no oil light came on no engine light. I never smelled any oil or burning of any kind. It is now waiting to be checked by Kia.

Looks good inside and out very comfortable. Everything works as stated. You can tell this vehicle has been well maintained. Was not expecting touch screen radio very nice.

This car will meet all your needs with leg room panoramic sunroof USB and 3 outlets heated and cooling seats front and back provides a nice quiet and comfortable ride.

If I didn’t need a truck, I would never get rid of this car. This turbo makes it a blast to drive and an absolute sleeper on the road. Heated and cooled seats and infinity sun roof make comfort and style come together. Awesome, awesome car.

The worst nightmare I have ever encountered!!! Recall after recall after recall a new engine the new engine now has gone bad going through 3 quarts of oil within two weeks of an oil change no sign of it leaking it’s just burning now my steering wheel is grinding as I turn the wheel the module needs to be replaced I’ve gone through six sets of all joints five tire rods just bought tires three weeks ago I need new tires are ready after having alignment three feel pump‘s which there’s two in the car so

I bought my Kia Optima SxL brand new and love it . I have over a 100 miles with minot issues. I’m sold on Kia will buy another one!!! I wish I could find another one same year with less miles . Love the style

This is the first used KIA purchased. (3 new KIA's purchased) No problems ever. Very reliable vehicles. Great vehicle and it is still under warranty.

This car has all the features you could ask for plus ones you never knew you wanted. It’s also such a smooth ride and a very quiet car.
