You get what you pay for

Just "Average" - Car is best when mileage is below 50k, after that, beware, parts will start breaking. Shocks\Struts, Door Hinges, Starter, Tie Rods, Steering Rack($4300 w/labor), Air Con Compressor($1,500 w/labor), Serp Belt & Tensioners, Timing Belt etc. Other parts that will probably need replacing soon also - O2 sensors, brakes, spark plugs & ignition coils. From here after 85k mi, the list can go on and on, as the parts get old and need replacing. Just remember KIA's are made cheap, so don't get your expectations too high. In Colorado- 4/20/24

Little Piglett keeps on chugging....

I'm at 274,000 miles...The car engine and transmission are still fine (4cyl). Next week replacing the lower control arms and end links...maybe ball joints too. The only negative is the timing belt services...Costs about $1200...but with the price of new... it's still worth it. Maybe I can get to 400,000 miles?

I would buy one again if I had to but I may never

Bought new in 2007 and have never had a problem. Runs great, very comfortable front and back seats. The color remains in good condition and the interior has held up well. Th With one car used by 2 people and several dogs this car has been used. I am in sales and a mobile Dj who is depending on reliability, good gas milage, and adaptability. The Sportage has all of that and 4WD for snow. It dosen't get better than that.

First and best car I've ever owned

This car is awesome!! The gas mileage is excellent. 240000 miles and engine is still going strong, other than some minor transmission repairs. Awesome in bad weather and held up in a minor accident.

Most reliable car I’ve owned.

Love this car, super reliable. Starts every morning. 4WD works great. Exterior still looks current. Back seats fold down for hauling. Best car I’ve had.

Absolutely reliable better than luxury cars

I love my 2007 Kia sportage lx v6 I take excellent care of my vehicle it's 13 years old with 136847 miles engine is very quiet and it runs smoothly and powerful it's definitely woth the investment in keeping it up and its paid off! I rust proof it and replaced any and everything my vehicle required. It's beautiful and I'll continue to drive my KIA Sportage until it can't go anymore. Just take of it like you take excellent care of yourself.

The Car That Won’t Die

Nearly 240k miles and 13 years later, it’s still my daily driver. Other than regular maintenance the only repairs have been a fuel pump, radiator and harmonic balancer replacement. That’s around less than $2k in repairs on a car with nearly a quarter million miles. I’ve been wanting a new car for years but hard to let go of a car that still gets the job done.

Definitely the best car I've owned.

Economical, easy to drive, comfortable. Needs stereo update but nothing but good things to say. Rides well and seats have lumbar roll which is perfect.

I've only owned this car a little over a week.

I've recently purchased this vehicle and so far it has met my expectations. It rides a little stiffer than my RAV4 did and the shifter is back further but all in all I expect the vehicle to preform exceptional.

GREAT SUV ...very reliable, great in bad weather ,

Since owning my Sportage(2012 to STILL HAVE IT) I've only had one problem with it. MASTER CYLINDER went. Great reliable car , great in bad weather, great on gas, roomy. I used it for reg commute to work, fun ,hard work, landscaping, haul stone inside back is SUV filled to top and barley put strain on back end. Still till this day i have it and it runs great! 2 hour commute round trip 6 days aweek!!!!! I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS SUV TO ANYONE!!
