Beware of high milage over 100K.

Once over 100K mi. Replace the Hybrid battery! This car os like the ones of old. Good for about 100K mi or 10 yrs. Then get rid of it.... inherent design flaws rear their ugly heads and start denying you of a paycheck! Hybrid battery failure, CVT failure, head gasket failure. Hybrid drive link failure and and and and!

worth every penny!!

I never thought i would own a hybrid. I have 6 other cars, most of which I dont put a lot of miles on. I put miles on the ct200 like crazy. It runs like a top and reliable as a light switch. It just turns on and runs. I get it serviced at Toyota (as its mechanicals are all Toyota) and it saves me from paying the premium service charges at Lexus. Highly recommend!!! Love this little car (and i truly get 43 MPG consistently)

Hottest Prius on the block

Seats are really comfortable, the mid tier "premium" sound system is excellent. Lots of flat around corners fun. 40mpg dead simple to achieve. Rear seats fit 6'tall person comfortably (knees and shoulder) with front seats all the way back.

Reliable, comfortable, and great mileage

Not the fastest car, but not the slowest either. The seats are super comfortable and supportive. Plenty of room for my 6'2" frame. Not much room in the back with tall people in front, but we're empty nesters, so that wasn't a concern.

basically a luxury prius

The Lexus ct200h is a nice luxury vehicle with great gas mileage at about 43 miles per gallon. Not a lot of room in the interior, so if you have more than one kid I probably would choose another vehicle. I use it for work so it definitely fits my needs.

Reliable, fun car, handles better than expected

This car is a great commuter car and has so much zip for a 4 cyl. The extra options in the upgraded package (navigation, heated seats, sports suspension) make for a really comfortable and easy ride. It handles amazingly well through the curvy Santa Cruz mountains. Gas mileage is stellar, regularly near 40 miles per gallon. Cute, fun, comfortable, reliable. And much more space than expected in a hatchback!

Most reliable car I have ever owned.

I was questionable about buying a hybrid and after a couple weeks of getting used to it and four years later, I loved it! $18 dollars to fill up would last me 10 days, Huge savings with a very smooth drive and great for road trips to the cabin!

Love this car!

This has been a very reliable, fuel efficient car! Love how it drives both in the summer and winter. Great cargo space for the size of the car.

The hybrid for enthusiasts

Look, as a car guy, I swore I'd never own a hybrid because most seem dull, awkward looking, slow, and just not fun to drive at all. That being said, recently our commute has increased to between 80-100 miles per day, so gas mileage and practicality became a priority. We'd driven the Hyundai Ioniq, Ford Fusion Hybrid, Kia Niro, and Honda Insight, and each had sacrifices. Then we came across this used CT200h, and took it for a spin. A day later, we came back and signed the paperwork. This car has already won me over into the hybrid world. Yes, it's still slow. It is still a Prius powerplant, after all with a CVT. But, the steering and suspension feel is great, throttle response is good in "Sport" (also love the hidden tachometer), brakes are a bit of a change but you adapt pretty quickly... It looks good, has the practicality of a hatchback, has the soft, luxurious feel of a Lexus interior, backed by the reliability of a Toyota. It's not fast by any standard, not even for a hybrid these days, but it's still fun. It does have a bit harsher ride than you'd expect of a Lexus, but I credit that to the "fun to drive" aspects of the suspension. That's a fair trade off to me. The interior is pretty comfortable, albeit tight in the rear seats especially if you have a front passenger or driver over 6ft tall, and the trunk isn't very big, but there are folding seats, and we don't have back seat passengers often. Overall, this car is great. It gets around 41 mpg on our typical commute, it's fun enough to drive, comfortable, and practical. I'm happy with it, and coming from a petrolhead, that's worth something!
