Great Small Luxury SUV, Comfortable Interior

I was looking for a small luxury crossover to replace my 2009 Lexus RX350. The NX200t caught my eye since the new RX350 models look huge. I purchased the NX200t base model and have had it for about 1 month. Features that I love are the backup camera, beautiful and comfortable interior, turn knob dial for the display screen, and lots of legroom for all passengers. I am very happy with the performance of the car as it drives very well, has good visibility, and has an excellent turning radius. Things that I dislike about the NX200t are that the base model doesn't include seat heaters and that the windshield wipers are not automatic. I also dislike that the display clock is not a digital clock and that the seats don't have pull-down armrests.

Lexus NX200t Nice but a bit overrated

Not very comfortable as driver nor passenger. Afterall, it's a utility truck vehicle. Beautiful color. Impressive driving a "Lexus." I liked the Toyota Avalon much more although not a fair comparison given to different type vehicles. I think the Lexus' vehicles are a bit overrated/overpriced, though. The "Primary Use" question did not provide the answer that this was my Primary Vehicle for day-to-day activities and, if traveled by car, use it as well. Except when I drove For Fun then it was my 2015 Corvette Stingray Convertible 3LT.

Luxurious and value for money

Very nice interior. A bit aggressive exterior which everyone may not like. I suggest Don't buy the base model. Go for a package

NX200 all wheel drive system broken

From my experience the Lexus NX200 all wheel drive is not a proper awd car. The awd system overheats immediately and switches to 2wd permanently when driving in the slightest snowy conditions.

Would not own again

I drive a 2010 RX350 and bought a 2015 NX, fully equipped, when they hit the market. Bottom line, this vehicle is small and rides rough. Lexus changes to Yokohama tires vs. Michelin tires, so I feel like I'm driving on solid rubber tires. Even played with the air pressure trying to improve the ride. Additionally, the rear view mirror rattles. Something you would not expect for a Lexus. For power, the four banger with turbo does OK, but if you want any zoom, you better put the NX in Sport mode and pay a little more at the pump. It's a luxury grocery getter, but would not advise for long trips/vacations. If you want a plush ride, pay a little more and get the RX.

owner

We owned this car 2 weeks. Then the "check engine light came on". We took it in, they said "you did not tighten the gas cap enough. I tightened it till it skipped. I cannot believe this car needs a gas cap tightened to 50ft lbs???

Love this vehicle!

I have had my atomic silver 200t f-sport for a month now and I can say that every day it still impresses me. The technologies integrated into the infotainment system have been rock solid. Seamless integration with cell phone (iPhone) and applications are useful and work well. The speed of navigation through the screens is great and it don't see the periodic slow downs that I used to experience with my Audi A6. I see a lot of complaints about the remote touch interface; I agree that it was not as intuitive as i would have expected with a Hugh end vehicle but after a couple of weeks I finally get it. The secret to making this work is #1 educate yourself on the operation-this is different, but not wrong. #2 take the time to setup your home screen so it works for you #3 get your presets in order (you can easily scroll through these using the buttons in the steering wheel without even looking #4 if you struggle, go back to your dealer..if they are not absolutely happy to help you, find a new dealer. My experience is that they are very helpful and will help you set everything up so it work seamlessly with how you drive, the mobile applications, and putting the things that you want to use in a place that makes it fast and easy. I like the height of this screen because it keeps my eyes on the road. The tactile feedback of the pad and your peripheral vision will keep you looking where you should. I am happy with the power and enjoy driving in sport mode when I want a more responsive drive. The first 1000 miles I got about 20.5 mpg but I am seeing this creep up to the Hugh 23s and low 24s with a a few miles and less instances of all wheel drive kicking in here in MN. The seats on the F sport have got to be the absolutely most comfortable seat I have been in! The side bolsters and available adjustments really make it so I can comfortably fit my 6'3" frame in to this car with great support and comfort. I think these seats are better than the ones I have had on my high end Audis. Quiet and very solid in snow and slush at any speed. This has that Lexus feel of solid construction and although pricey, I think it is a great value in comparison to a lot of other luxury crossovers on the market.

Love it!!!!

No complaints! It has a smooth ride and looks amazing. The touch pad has taken some getting used to, but it's growing on me. It is very powerful for a small SUV and has all the "bells and whistles" of a luxury vehicle.
