Nice car

I liked my 2007 Lexcus 350 better, it was all around a much more quiet ride no rattles, my 2010 is noisy and does not appear to have as firm a ride.

Great SUV

Although not a ride like the LS 460, The RX 350 is a smooth handling car that hugs the road. Good visibility, exceptional interior comfort, and safety.

Not Happy

I regret buying this vechile. Lots of road noise, seats are uncomfortable on a long trip. Engine is noisey, also sounds as if there is an exhaust leak. I was told by dealer this is normal on all 2010 rx350's. I did not get the navagation system so I use a portable GPS. The electrical outlet is a joke. There should be an outlet on the dash or someother location easier to use. Would I buy another RX350, NO WAY.

NOT WHAT EXPECTED FROM LEXUS

OWNED HIGHLANDER BEFORE BUYING RX350 AND WAS VERY PLEASED. WHEN TIME CAME TO TRADE I THOUGHT HOW MUCH BETTER THE LEXUS WOULD BE EVEN THOUGH IT WAS OVER $10,000 MORE. THE NAVAGATION SYSTEM IS USELESS WHILE DRIVING. YOU MUST BE STOPPED TO PREFORM ANY TASK. VOICE COMMUNICATION IS USELESS. MAYBE IT'S THE SOUTHERN ACCSENT. THE ELECTRICAL PLUGS ARE USELESS. MORE ROAD NOISE THAN THE HIGHLANDER. MPG OVERALL 16. MANY OF THE CONTROLS ARE NOT BACKLIT. YOU WOULD THINK THAT A SMALL SUV THAT COST $50000 WOULD HAVE MANY MORE EXTRAS FOUND ON LESS EXPENSIVE VEH. DON'T JUST ASSUME THEY ARE AVAILIBLE.

still happy with lexus after 11 years

A great car. a few annoyances however; garage door opener button not back lighted, very awkward auxiliary plugs location, center console storage nearly useless, small glove box, open storage area under center console is a joke( will not accommodate wife's purse), missing sunglasses storage, many blind spots compared to older models. STILL A GREAT VEHICLE - WOULD BUY ANOTHER!

Read Your Manual

Traded in my beloved 2008 rx for 2011 last week. I love this car BUT i also felt engine was very loud. (have read several similar complaints on various review sites) Salesman said "use regular unleaded" and lexus uses that statement as a selling point. BUT if you read your manual on Gasoline Use (pg 306 in mine) it clearly states "for optimum performance use 91 octane or higher". Most regular unlead is 89. And "continued use of regular unlead will result in engine knocking and damage to your engine"! I switched to premium gas and saw immediate difference in performance and noise...good luck..great car

Everything I wanted & more...

The car comes with a price tag on the higher end for an SUV, but you get every penny's worth and more in value. The incredible service and reliability of these cars alone make it worth it. The car is incredibly comfortable, handles like a dream, and makes driving a much less painful endeavor. Everything is top of the line, the internal computer system essentially controls everything through a very user-friendly, intuitive mouse control. Voice commands and Bluetooth make it easy to change modes and make calls hands-free, so that you can focus on the road. The cargo space is more than enough for a small family to make road trips or haul groceries, etc. and the perforated heated & cooled seats make long drives enjoyable. The navigation system is also easy to use and you can upload destinations to your car from your phone or computer to make it even easier. There is nothing more I could want from my RX 350 - I highly recommend!

Best SUV in its class

Besides this Lexus RX350, we checked BMW X5, Mercedes ML350, etc. Originally, we'd prefer to have an either BMW or a Mercedes since we have a 2008 RX already. After closely looked the options and test drove the cars, even with the same price, we had to choose RX 350, not mentioning the almost $10K price difference. The X5 is bulky and bumpy for my wife, the ML350 is definitely out of style. In addition, the interior design and material quality of the RX is much better than the other two, the user-friendly GPS and the ventilated seats, as examples.

Great overall, some details are rough

Overall, this is a terrific car. Every convenience you could want, terrific driveability for a SUV, and super comfortable. Looking forward to snow, as one of the reasons I bought this vehichle was for the winters here in the midwest. Terrific build quality, strong fit and finish. Very quiet, good strong engine. My complaints are truly minor. The armrest storage is almost unusable since the cover does not swing far enough back - this is by far the thing that annoys me the most in daily driving. As you go through a drive through, getting change out of the center console involves way too much acrobatics. Very surprising miss from Lexus. Wish the gas mileage were a touch better. On premium fuel in daily driving I'm gettting a shade under 20 mpg, with about half of my daily driving on the expressway. Doesn't get all that much better on longer trips, 23 or so. There's a bunch of things which the old RX had, which the new one doesn't, all of which are minor as they sought to save money. One example: the door ajar warning light on the dash doesn't tell you which door is open - something my much cheaper 2004 Acura TL did. But those are trite and don't take away from the overall experience. Terrific car, after you choke down writing a check that size!

Be careful buying this one.

There is an engine problem on some of the 2010s that Lexus refuses to fix, it sounds like the valves are clattering. Lexus says they all make that noise but they don't. The noise did not start until around 5,000 miles, it sounds like a diesel. It gets a little quieter when it warms up but is still very loud, it is actaully embarrasing when the valet brings it around.
