Sporty and affordable SUV

The CX-5 met all of my needs. Coming from a Jeep Wrangler, I wanted something smaller and more comfortable. The interior is modern and trendy. It had great features as far as radio, sound system, and drive-ability. There is plenty of leg room in the back for the size of the car.

New Mazda Owner

The car is comfortable, responsive and quiet. The Eternal Blue is a great color. The backseat could use a little more legroom. Maybe fingerprint proof touch screen would be a nice addition.

A really nice car, a very good value

We checked into various crossovers, and, of course, several are good, but the Mazda CX 5 immediately caught our eye because of the styling, both exterior and interior. And the car drove significantly better than other crossovers we tried. We aren't "car" people, but the handling of the car was noticeably good. And, we don't go off road -the Mazda CX 5 is not designed for off road driving. For our needs and pleasure (and pocketbook) this seems to have been a good choice. (WE have not owned this car long enough to know about its reliability, but n/a is not a choice for reliability category )

Subaru Forrester

This car was very reliable. The most important aspect I consider. However. The Mazda CX-5 is a much better value for the price. Etc. etc., etc., etc., etc., etc., etc.

New Car- I Love it.

This car has everything I want and need! So many extras that I did not even know that I wanted. So much fun to drive in town or on the highway.

So far, So Good

Roomy inside front ; seems little cramped rear seat behind driver's side. Wish I had upgraded to auto open rear cargo door but it works OK manually. Easy to program vehicle settings and radio stations. LOVE all the safety features. Drive seems to be a bit choppy to start off but it could be the way I depress pedal -- only have 200 miles on it so I'm sure I'll get better. Definitely love the suede/leatherette seats -- did NOT want leather as most cars I looked in the price range had mediocre grade of leather and either cold/hot depending on weather. Overall I'm pleased I got a small SUV.

very nice vehicle

Looks and drives great. Many options and very well thought out. Vehicle is the right size for our needs, with enough power. Rides extremely smooth and quiet.

A Superb Vehicle

I tested drove the Toyota RAV4, Ford Edge and CX-5 and purchase the CX-5. I love it! The driving experience and all wheel drive system of the CX-5 is what sold me on the vehicle. The handling, steering, acceleration and cornering are all so buttery smooth. It just responds perfectly to your input. It was the best and most fun drive out of all three on my short list. The interior is quality, styling is quite nice and out of all 3 it was the cheapest. I only compared the base models, since it had the features I wanted without any of the other stuff that wasn't important to me and IMO, not worth the extra money on any of them.

A very Stylish Car

Sleek style. Drives well. The seat adjusts to the height I need. Trunk opens remotely. This is good when I am grocery shopping. Please learn about the electric break. I attempted to back down a hill and the car didn't want to back down. I didn't realize the electric brake was on. Learn about that brake.
