I am a loyal Mazda owner, I especially love my new

This is my second CX5 purchase and I love the interior the best. The car is much quieter inside than my last one, the improvements made to the 2019’s are very noticeable and impressive. If I could change one thing it would be the location of the screen, I prefer the old location.

Looking forward to years of enjoyment

I read lots of reviews and narrowed down my wish list to a few, then went and test drove the Mazda CX-5 to see if it lived up to the reviews and if I liked it as much as the internet pictures. Well it did, I love it and bought it yesterday! In others reviews, one comment was lack of legroom in the back seat. Having drove a Nissan Murano for 10 years, I was a little worried that this would be too small for my family and I. I was very pleasantly surprised - there is plenty of legroom for even my 6 ft 2 ft son to sit comfortably. While I have only had it one day, so far I am LOVING it and enjoying all the extra features and power of the Grand Touring Reserve Mazda CX-5.

Very smooth ride quiet, lots of power. I LOVE IT! Would definitely recommend this vehicle. Great power while driving up a mountain & excellent curving ability.

GT Reserve: Best luxury compact SUV for the money

The "candy apple red" color got my attention but the beautiful exterior design and interior amenities and safety features like lane departure, blind spot alert, automatic cruise control braking, etc. kept my attention. The drive was V6-like in feel, having owned a 2007 V6 RAV 4. It was torquey down low and had enough power in the mid range RPMs. But, very Mazda-like, the steering feel and HANDLING was outstanding! For an upscale compact SUV car in the mid 30 thousands this is a very good buy. I was going to get a loaded RAV 4 Hybrid but not now. I'll have one by the end of the month.

Fun to drive.

After giving up my aging 4 runner, this vehicle is really fun to drive. Real quick and lively. Being a senior, I could use a bit more seat comfort, but haven't taken it on a long ride yet.. plenty of adjustments to compensate. All the new technology was a bit much, but learning to appreciate it.

Fun to drive, good gas mileage, great interest rat

Great value and fun to drive sport utility vehicle. Plenty of cargo space with back seats folded down. Only negative would be visibility due to window hight, large rear view mirrors, and thick A frame.

Disappointing

Read tons of positive reviews and decided to take the plunge on the CX5 Touring trim. After 3 weeks of driving it I can say I’m disappointed in the overall performance of the vehicle. I find the engine sluggish and generally not very responsive and the gas mileage to be significantly below the estimates posted on the sticker. In addition, the technology is surprisingly poor with a display that is controlled by touch when the car is in park but requires a console controller when the vehicle is in motion. I also find it odd, in this day and age, that satellite radio is not available except in higher trim packages. I like the exterior styling and the car handles well but the negatives outweighs the positives which will mean a relatively short period of ownership for me.
