So far Very Good

This car meets all my needs. There should be a rating of Not enough experience for reliability because I've only had the car for 3 weeks. I think at this price navigation should have been included. Otherwise, I'm reminded of the old commercial Zoom, Zoom, great so far!

Stylish, affordable, great value

I'm in love! I just purchased my 2020 CX-5 in late June. It is a stylish, well appointed SUV that is perfect for my needs. The interior appointments are more than you might expect from a non-luxury, small SUV - very classy. Has all the safety features. The road noise has really been dampened quite well. The infotainment screen, along with the central rotary controller, takes some practice to master. The screen's icons are not that well labeled, and simple adjustments that should be quick take several steps. It's not what I consider to be "intuitive." But - once you "play" with it enough, you'll get the hang of it. If you don't purchase the Preferred Equipment Package for $1,375, you won't have a sun roof or Bose stereo system, which doesn't matter to me. What I do miss, and think should be standard, is an auto open/close rear hatch. The on-board navigation system requires an SD card, which costs an additional $400+, but you can buy them online for less then $40 - which I did. Overall, the CX-5 is a great vehicle for its cost, it's fun to drive, and its stylish lines are eye candy. If I needed another small SUV, I'd buy a 2nd CX-5!

My dream SUV

I’ve always wanted an SUV and this car has met all my needs. I purchased the Mazda Touring with the preferred package. I didn’t need anything too fancy but has just enough additional features that I thought was worth it - like the Bose Sound system. It drives smooth and quiet. The dash is simple and not too overwhelming. The leatherette seats are soft and comfortable. The back row has a lot of leg room. There are many safety features. I’m seriously obsessed with the look of this car. It’s sporty and sleek. It feels like a driver’s car.

Quality build, thoughtful touches, and good value.

Extra touches like moldings on sides of doors and extra insulation under the hood help control road noise and make the car fairly air tight. MPG on highway better than the 30 highway rating...getting 32 plus. Very stylish exterior with luxury touches on the interior. Though only 2 months of ownership, initial impressions are excellent. Only caution..pick an honest dealer and shop for your best price. Do not use Murray Mazda in Muncy, PA.
