Love at First Drive
In February 2011, I went looking to buy an SUV. I had researched a number of vehicles (not Mazdas) and I was pretty much convinced I'd buy either or 2011 Kia Sorento or a Honda CR-V. After test driving both, I was really disappointed. The Sorento was loud and not very comfortable, and the CR-V seemed somewhat cheap and had a couple of bad blind spots. I wandered over to the Mazda dealership at my sister's insistence (she liked the looks of a red one) and fell in love with a 2010 AWD Grand Touring. I knew it was my car immediately. It has great pickup, handles beautifully, is quiet, has a great interior and I absolutely love the blind spot monitor. The only negative is the gas mileage but I can live with that until gas prices go down.

Too Basic
The Mazda CX-& is just 'ok'. I've had it for about 18 months and while not much has gone wrong with it, the car is too basic ... basic sound, underpowered 4 cylinder engine, road noise comes through, blah interior. As an example of bar bones ... a fuse blew ... fine, no problem ... went to get a spare fuse and found there were none - LIKE THERE ARE IN MOST CARS. If a fuse goes, it goes at a time when you can't easily buy another - so the car should come with spares. Mazdas don't. My first - and last, Mazda. It is absurd that Mazda is so chintzy as to not include one single spare fuse in the fuse compartment (which contains spots for spares !)

Enjoying my new CX-7
I have had my 2010 CX-7 for 5000 miles and have been enjoying it. I was hesitant in owning a 4 cyc. engine but it has plenty of pick up. It is smooth and comfortable. There is a bit of plastic on the interior, but it is quiet so far (no rattles). Nice car and a good buy for the money.

smart car...truck
It feels like a car but it can handle snow like a truck. Gas mileage is good and traction has always been good. I enjoy driving it on long trips and short ones too. Driving in the snow in Wisconsin hasn't been a problem with traction control. Two things that I would change is the back seat...with the middle being raised a car seat or booster doesn't sit evenly. It would be nice to have a little bit more room side to side in back seat. Legroom in the back is great. Wouldn't change that at all. Second thing I would change is the ridge to get into the car. You get used to it but for elderly lifting your leg those extra inches is tough.Overall it's a great vehicle. I would recommend it to my friends and family.

Sport Crossover Suv
The overall styling is what drew me to this car. I test-drove a lot of cars and I kept coming back to the CX-7. After months of research and numerous test drives, I needed to be done. I gave the design a 5 star. The value for my money a high 4 star. Comfort a three. I like the seats but the smoothness of the ride is great on a smooth surface. On bumpy road, it's a very bump ride. The only thing that I'm somewhat disappointed in. I like the MPG as I got he FWD version. Overall, I love my car. I wanted something bigger than a sedan but didn't want a big, clunky SUV that got bad gas mileage and had more room than needed. For me this is a near perfect and chose this over the more expensive Murano and Edge.

Best value crossover
I have a 2008 CX-7 Grand Touring Turbo..I travel between Portland and Seattle for business on a regular basis...50,000 miles already on it....and I LOVE it!!! I really tried to buy a different car...I test drove all the possible competitors from Honda, Toyota, Volvo, Volkswagon to Hyundai, Kia and Mercury....but as soon as I stumbled across the CX-7 it stood out in quality, design and cost....in my opinion it offers a much better value for the money than anything else available. Only down side is the gas mileage is not as high as I was hoping to find.

Awesome Crossover For The Money!
Unfortunately we had to get a car immediately after our Jeep was totaled in a headon collision! We looked at the Nissen Murano and Rogue. We liked the Murano but the price was out of reach. As for the Rogue smaller and not the look we wanted. We decided to go where my parents buy their Fords. This is also a Mazda dealership. Immediately we fell in love with the 2010 Mazda CX-7. We give this car a five star rating all around. Ours is Brillant black with black leather interior. It is totally loaded only lacking a moonroof. This is an awesome crossover with a car feel, good mileage, sleek design, and AWD! If you are looking for a new car or an alternative to an SUV this crossover is the one!

Sports car style, Family Reliability
My wife and I went out and searched the usual crossovers. Toyota, Honda, Subaru, Chevy, and GMC were all good cars, but when we slipped behind the wheel of the Mazda CX-7 we were sold! This car beats the others hands down in quality, performance, and style. The biggest part that sold us on it, however, was the technology. Navigation, back-up camera, Bluetooth for hands-free calling... even the Bose stereo sounded better than all the competition. We are not "hard-core" off-roaders so the sleek metro styling and clean design made it a great choice over some other "poser" crossovers. I am very impressed with this car.

pleasant surprise for the money
I wasn't expecting much after owning a car for twice the money, but I was pleasantly surprised. In some areas it turned out better than my previous more expensive suv.
